1 T hen wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the Lord put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the Lord had commanded.
Bezalel and Aholiab and every wisehearted man in whom the Lord has put wisdom and understanding to know how to do all the work for the service of the sanctuary shall work according to all that the Lord has commanded.
2 A nd Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
And Moses called Bezalel and Aholiab and every able and wisehearted man in whose mind the Lord had put wisdom and ability, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work;
3 A nd they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
And they received from Moses all the freewill offerings which the Israelites had brought for doing the work of the sanctuary, to prepare it for service. And they continued to bring him freewill offerings every morning.
4 A nd all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
And all the wise and able men who were doing the work on the sanctuary came, every man from the work he was doing,
5 A nd they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.
And they said to Moses, The people bring much more than enough for doing the work which the Lord commanded to do.
6 A nd Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
So Moses commanded and it was proclaimed in all the camp, Let no man or woman do anything more for the sanctuary offering. So the people were restrained from bringing,
7 F or the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

8 A nd every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.
And all the able and wisehearted men among them who did the work on the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue, purple, and scarlet, with cherubim skillfully worked on them.
9 T he length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.
The length of each curtain was twenty-eight cubits and its breadth four cubits; all the curtains were one size.
10 A nd he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.

11 A nd he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
And he made loops of blue on the outer edge of the last curtain in the first set; this he did also on the inner edge of the first curtain in the second set.
12 F ifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.
Fifty loops he made in the one curtain and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which was the second set; the loops were opposite one another.
13 A nd he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.
And he made fifty clasps of gold and coupled the curtains together with the clasps so that the tabernacle became one unit.
14 A nd he made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.
And he made eleven curtains of goats’ hair for a tent over the tabernacle.
15 T he length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.

16 A nd he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.

17 A nd he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
And he made fifty loops on the outmost edge of the curtain to be coupled and fifty loops he made on the inner edge of the second curtain to be coupled.
18 A nd he made fifty taches of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.
He made fifty clasps of bronze to couple the tent together into one whole.
19 A nd he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above that.

20 A nd he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.
He made boards of acacia wood for the upright framework of the tabernacle.
21 T he length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.

22 O ne board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
Each board had two tenons (projections) to fit into a mortise to form a clutch; he did this for all the boards of the tabernacle.
23 A nd he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:
And he made thus the boards for the tabernacle: twenty boards for the south side,
24 A nd forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.
And he made under the twenty boards forty sockets or bases of silver, two sockets under one board for its two tenons or hands, and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.
25 A nd for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,

26 A nd their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

27 A nd for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.
And for the rear or west side of the tabernacle he made six boards.
28 A nd two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
And two boards he made for each corner of the tabernacle in the rear.
29 A nd they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.
They were separate below but linked together at the top with one ring; thus he made both of them in both corners.
30 A nd there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.
There were eight boards with sixteen sockets or bases of silver, and under each board two sockets.
31 A nd he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

32 A nd five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.
And five bars for the boards of its other side, and five bars for the boards at the rear or west side.
33 A nd he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.
And he made the middle bar pass through halfway up the boards from one end to the other.
34 A nd he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.
He overlaid the boards and the bars with gold and made their rings of gold as places for the bars.
35 A nd he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.
And he made the veil of blue, purple, and scarlet and fine twined linen, with cherubim skillfully worked.
36 A nd he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.

37 A nd he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;
And he made a screen for the tent door of blue, purple, and scarlet and fine twined linen, embroidered,
38 A nd the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of brass.
