1 I love the Lord, because He hears My voice and my supplications.

AMO á Jehová, pues ha oído Mi voz y mis súplicas.

2 B ecause He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.

Porque ha inclinado á mí su oído, Invocaré le por tanto en todos mis días.

3 T he cords of death encompassed me And the terrors of Sheol came upon me; I found distress and sorrow.

Rodeáronme los dolores de la muerte, Me encontraron las angustias del sepulcro: Angustia y dolor había yo hallado.

4 T hen I called upon the name of the Lord: “O Lord, I beseech You, save my life!”

Entonces invoqué el nombre de Jehová, diciendo: Libra ahora, oh Jehová, mi alma.

5 G racious is the Lord, and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate.

Clemente es Jehová y justo; Sí, misericordioso es nuestro Dios.

6 T he Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.

Jehová guarda á los sinceros: Estaba yo postrado, y salvóme.

7 R eturn to your rest, O my soul, For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.

Vuelve, oh alma mía, á tu reposo; Porque Jehová te ha hecho bien.

8 F or You have rescued my soul from death, My eyes from tears, My feet from stumbling.

Pues tú has librado mi alma de la muerte, Mis ojos de lágrimas, Y mis pies de desbarrar.

9 I shall walk before the Lord In the land of the living.

Andaré delante de Jehová En la tierra de los vivientes.

10 I believed when I said, “I am greatly afflicted.”

Creí; por tanto hablé, Estando afligido en gran manera.

11 I said in my alarm, “ All men are liars.”

Y dije en mi apresuramiento: Todo hombre es mentiroso.

12 W hat shall I render to the Lord For all His benefits toward me?

¿Qué pagaré á Jehová Por todos sus beneficios para conmigo?

13 I shall lift up the cup of salvation And call upon the name of the Lord.

Tomaré la copa de la salud, E invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

14 I shall pay my vows to the Lord, Oh may it be in the presence of all His people.

Ahora pagaré mis votos á Jehová Delante de todo su pueblo.

15 P recious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His godly ones.

Estimada es en los ojos de Jehová La muerte de sus santos.

16 O Lord, surely I am Your servant, I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid, You have loosed my bonds.

Oh Jehová, que yo soy tu siervo, Yo tu siervo, hijo de tu sierva: Rompiste mis prisiones.

17 T o You I shall offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And call upon the name of the Lord.

Te ofreceré sacrificio de alabanza, E invocaré el nombre de Jehová.

18 I shall pay my vows to the Lord, Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,

A Jehová pagaré ahora mis votos Delante de todo su pueblo;

19 I n the courts of the Lord’s house, In the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!

En los atrios de la casa de Jehová, En medio de ti, oh Jerusalem. Aleluya.
