2 I figli di Tola furono: Uzzi, Refaia, Ieriel, Iamai, Ibsam e Samuele, capi delle case patriarcali discese da Tola; ed erano uomini forti e valorosi nelle loro generazioni; il loro numero, al tempo di Davide, era di ventiduemilaseicento.

And sons of Tola: Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of the house of their fathers, of Tola, mighty of valour in their generations: their number in the days of David twenty and two thousand and six hundred.

3 I l figlio di Uzzi fu Izraia e i figli di Izraia furono: Micael, Abdia, Ioel e Issia; in tutto erano cinque capi.

And sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah; and sons of Izrahiah: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, Hamishah -- all of them heads.

4 A vevano con loro, secondo le loro genealogie, secondo le loro case patriarcali, trentaseimila uomini in schiere armate per la guerra; perché avevano molte mogli e molti figli.

And beside them, by their generations, of the house of their fathers, troops of the host of battle, thirty and six thousand, for they multiplied wives and sons;

5 I loro fratelli, contando tutte le famiglie d’Issacar, uomini forti e valorosi, formavano un totale di ottantasettemila, iscritti nelle genealogie.

6 I figli di Beniamino furono: Bela, Becher e Iediael; tre in tutto.

7 I figli di Bela furono: Esbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Ierimot e Iri; cinque capi di case patriarcali, uomini forti e valorosi, iscritti nelle genealogie in numero di ventiduemilatrentaquattro.

10 I l figlio di Iediael fu Bilan. I figli di Bilan furono: Ieus, Beniamino, Eud, Chenaana, Zetan, Tarsis e Aisaar.

And sons of Jediael: Bilhan; and sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar.

11 T utti questi erano figli di Iediael, capi di case patriarcali, uomini forti e valorosi in numero di diciassettemiladuecento pronti a partire per la guerra.

All these sons of Jediael, even heads of the fathers, mighty in valour, seventeen thousand and two hundred going out to the host for battle.

12 S uppim e Cuppim furono figli d’Ir; Cusim fu figlio di Acher.

And Shuppim and Huppim sons of Ir; Hushim son of Aher.

13 I figli di Neftali furono: Iacasiel, Guni, Ieser, Sallum, discendenti di Bila. Discendenti di Manasse, Efraim e Ascer

Sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.

14 F igli di Manasse furono Asriel…, che gli furono partoriti dalla moglie. La sua concubina sira partorì Machir, padre di Galaad;

Sons of Manasseh: Ashriel, whom Jaladah his Aramaean concubine bare, with Machir father of Gilead.

15 M achir prese una moglie per Cuppim e una per Suppim, e la sorella di lui si chiamava Maaca. Il nome del suo secondo figlio era Selofead; e Selofead ebbe delle figlie.

And Machir took wives for Huppim and for Shuppim, and the name of the one Maachah, and the name of the second Zelophehad, and Zelophehad hath daughters.

And Maachah wife of Machir beareth a son and calleth his name Peresh, and the name of his brother Sheresh, and his sons Ulam and Rakem.

17 I l figlio di Ulam fu Bedan. Questi furono i figli di Galaad, figlio di Machir, figlio di Manasse.

And son of Ulam: Bedan. These sons of Gilead son of Machir, son of Manasseh.

18 S ua sorella Ammolechet partorì Isod, Abiezer e Mala.

And his sister Hammolecheth bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.

19 I figli di Semida furono Aian, Sechem, Lichi e Aniam.

And the sons of Shemida are Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.

20 I l figlio di Efraim fu Sutela, che ebbe per figlio Bered, che ebbe per figlio Taat, che ebbe per figlio Eleada, che ebbe per figlio Taat,

And sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eladah his son, and Tahath his son,

21 c he ebbe per figlio Zabad, che ebbe per figli Sutela, Ezer ed Elead, i quali furono uccisi dagli uomini di Gat, nativi del paese, perché erano scesi a predare il loro bestiame.

22 E fraim, loro padre, li pianse per molto tempo, e i suoi fratelli vennero a consolarlo.

and his daughter Sherah, and she buildeth Beth-Horon, the lower and the upper, and Uzzen-Sherah --

25 E bbe ancora per figli: Refa e Resef; tra questi Refa ebbe per figlio Tela, che ebbe per figlio Taan,

and Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,

26 c he ebbe per figlio Ladan, che ebbe per figlio Ammiud, che ebbe per figlio Elisama,

Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,

27 c he ebbe per figlio Nun, che ebbe per figlio Giosuè.

Non his son, Jehoshua his son.

28 L e loro proprietà e abitazioni furono Betel e le città che ne dipendevano: dalla parte d’oriente, Naaran; da occidente, Ghezer con i villaggi vicini, Sichem con le città che ne dipendevano, fino a Gaza con le città che ne dipendevano.

29 I figli di Manasse possedevano: Bet-Sean e le città che ne dipendevano, Taanac e le città che ne dipendevano, Meghiddo e le città che ne dipendevano, Dor e le città che ne dipendevano. In queste città abitarono i figli di Giuseppe, figlio d’Israele.

and by the parts of the sons of Manasseh, Beth-Shean and its small towns, Taanach and its small towns, Megiddo and its small towns, Dor and its small towns; in these dwelt the sons of Joseph son of Israel.

30 I figli di Ascer furono: Imna, Isva, Isvi, Beria e Sera, loro sorella.

Son of Asher: Imnah, and Ishve, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.

31 I figli di Beria furono: Eber e Malchiel. Malchiel fu padre di Birzavit.

And sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel -- he father of Birzavith.

32 E ber generò Iaflet, Somer, Otam e Sua, loro sorella.

And Heber begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.

33 I figli di Iaflet furono: Pasac, Bimal e Asvat. Questi sono i figli di Iaflet.
