1 I waited patiently for Jehovah; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Твердо надеялся я на Господа, и Он склонился ко мне и услышал мой крик.

2 A nd he brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock; he hath established my goings:

Он поднял меня из страшной пропасти, из зыбкой трясины. Он поставил ноги мои на камень и стопы мои утвердил.

3 A nd he hath put a new song in my mouth, praise unto our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall confide in Jehovah.

Он вложил мне в уста новую песнь – хвалу нашему Богу. Увидят многие и устрашатся, и будут на Господа уповать.

4 B lessed is the man that hath made Jehovah his confidence, and turneth not to the proud, and to such as turn aside to lies.

Блажен тот человек, кто надежду свою возлагает на Господа, кто не обращается к гордым и к уклоняющимся ко лжи.

5 T hou, O Jehovah my God, hast multiplied thy marvellous works, and thy thoughts toward us: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee; would I declare and speak, they are more than can be numbered.

Многочисленны, Господи, мой Бог, чудеса, которые Ты сотворил, и замыслы Твои о нас! Кто с Тобою сравнится! Я бы стал возвещать о них и рассказывать, но их больше, чем можно счесть.

6 S acrifice and oblation thou didst not desire: ears hast thou prepared me. Burnt-offering and sin-offering hast thou not demanded;

Не захотел Ты ни жертв, ни даров, но Ты открыл мне уши. Ты не потребовал ни всесожжения, ни жертвы за грех.

7 T hen said I, Behold, I come, in the volume of the book it is written of me—

Тогда я сказал: «Вот, я иду, как и написано в свитке обо мне.

8 T o do thy good pleasure, my God, is my delight, and thy law is within my heart.

Бог мой, я желаю волю Твою исполнить, и в сердце моем Твой Закон».

9 I have published righteousness in the great congregation: behold, I have not withheld my lips, Jehovah, thou knowest.

В большом собрании я возвещал Твою праведность; я не удерживал своих уст – Ты это знаешь, Господи.

10 I have not hidden thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy loving-kindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

Я не скрыл Твоей праведности в своем сердце, но возвещал верность Твою и спасение. Я не таил Твою милость и истину перед большим собранием.

11 W ithhold not thou, Jehovah, thy tender mercies from me; let thy loving-kindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

Не удерживай, Господи, щедрот Твоих от меня, пусть милость Твоя и истина охраняют меня непрестанно.

12 F or innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head: and my heart hath failed me.

Ведь беды окружили, и нет им числа; грехи мои мной овладели, и не могу я видеть. Их больше, чем волос на моей голове; храбрость меня оставила.

13 B e pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me; Jehovah, make haste to my help.

Господи, да будет угодно Тебе избавить меня! Поспеши мне на помощь, Господи!

14 L et them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be turned backward and confounded that take pleasure in mine adversity;

Пусть все, кто ищет жизни моей, будут пристыжены и посрамлены. Пусть все, кто хочет моей погибели, в бесчестии повернут назад.

15 L et them be desolate, because of their shame, that say unto me, Aha! Aha!

Пусть ужаснутся своему позору говорящие мне: «Ага! Ага!»

16 L et all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee; let such as love thy salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified!

Пусть ликуют и радуются о Тебе все ищущие Тебя. Пусть те, кто любит Твое спасение, говорят непрестанно: «Велик Господь!»

17 B ut I am afflicted and needy: the Lord thinketh upon me. Thou art my help and my deliverer: my God, make no delay.

Я же беден и нищ, пусть Владыка позаботится обо мне. Ты – помощь моя и мой избавитель. Бог мой, не замедли!
