1 J ehovah reigneth: let the earth be glad, let the many isles rejoice.

Господь царствует! Пусть ликует земля и возрадуются многочисленные острова!

2 C louds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.

Тучи и тьма вокруг Него; на праведности и правосудии основан Его престол.

3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his adversaries round about.

Пламя идет перед Ним и сжигает Его врагов вокруг.

4 H is lightnings lightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

Молнии Его освещают вселенную, земля видит и трепещет.

5 T he mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Холмы тают, подобно воску, при виде Господа, при виде Владыки всей земли.

6 T he heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.

Небеса возвещают о Его праведности, и все народы видят Его славу.

7 A shamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols. Worship him, all ye gods.

Устыдитесь, все служащие истуканам, хвалящиеся идолами. Поклонитесь Ему, все боги!

8 Z ion heard, and rejoiced; and the daughters of Judah were glad, because of thy judgments, O Jehovah.

Сион услышал и обрадовался, дочери Иудеи возликовали о Твоих судах, Господи.

9 F or thou, Jehovah, art the Most High above all the earth; thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods.

Ведь Ты, Господи, превыше всей земли, превознесен высоко над всеми богами.

10 Y e that love Jehovah, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints, he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Любящие Господа, ненавидьте зло! Он хранит души верных Ему и избавляет их от рук нечестивых.

11 L ight is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.

Свет сияет на праведника, и на правых сердцем – веселье.

12 R ejoice in Jehovah, ye righteous; and give thanks in remembrance of his holiness.

Радуйтесь, праведные, о Господе, возносите хвалу, вспоминая о Его святости.
