1 M ake haste, O God, to deliver me; Jehovah, to my help.

Боже, скорее избавь меня! Господи, поспеши мне на помощь!

2 L et them be ashamed and brought to confusion that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and confounded that take pleasure in mine adversity;

Да будут пристыжены и посрамлены все, кто ищет жизни моей. Да повернут назад в бесчестии все, кто хочет моей погибели.

3 L et them turn back because of their shame that say, Aha! Aha!

Да возвратятся со стыдом говорящие мне: «Ага! Ага!»

4 L et all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee, and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified!

Но все, кто ищет Тебя, пусть радуются и веселятся в Тебе; пусть те, кто любит Твое спасение, говорят непрестанно: «Велик Бог!»

5 B ut I am afflicted and needy: make haste unto me, O God. Thou art my help and my deliverer: O Jehovah, make no delay.

Я же беден и нищ. Поспеши ко мне! Ты – помощь моя и мой избавитель; Господи, не замедли!
