1 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses saying,

Господь сказал Моисею:

2 S peak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.

– Говори с Аароном и скажи ему: «Когда ты будешь устанавливать семь лампад, пусть они освещают место перед светильником».

3 A nd Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

Аарон так и сделал. Он установил лампады так, чтобы они светили перед светильником, как повелел Моисею Господь.

4 A nd this was the work of the candlestick: of beaten gold; from its base to its flowers was it beaten work; according to the form which Jehovah had shewn Moses, so had he made the candlestick.

Вот как был сделан светильник: его сделали из кованого золота – от основания до цветков. Светильник был сделан по тому образцу, который показал Моисею Господь. Очищение и посвящение левитов

5 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Господь сказал Моисею:

6 T ake the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

– Отдели левитов от остальных израильтян и очисти их.

7 A nd thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: sprinkle upon them water of purification from sin; and they shall pass the razor over all their flesh, and shall wash their garments, and make themselves clean.

Чтобы очистить их, сделай так: окропи их водой очищения, и пусть они обреют все тело и выстирают одежду. Так они очистятся.

8 A nd they shall take a young bullock and its oblation of fine flour mingled with oil; and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin-offering.

Пусть они возьмут молодого быка с положенным хлебным приношением из лучшей муки, смешанной с маслом, а ты возьми второго молодого быка для жертвы за грех.

9 A nd thou shalt bring the Levites before the tent of meeting; and thou shalt gather together the whole assembly of the children of Israel.

Приведи левитов к шатру собрания и собери все общество Израиля.

10 A nd thou shalt bring the Levites before Jehovah; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites.

Поставь левитов перед Господом, и пусть израильтяне возложат на них руки.

11 A nd Aaron shall offer the Levites as a wave-offering before Jehovah from the children of Israel, and they shall perform the service of Jehovah.

Пусть Аарон посвятит левитов Господу, как приношение потрясания, чтобы они могли служить Господу.

12 A nd the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and thou shalt offer the one for a sin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offering, to Jehovah, to make atonement for the Levites.

Когда левиты возложат руки на головы быков, принеси одного быка в жертву Господу за грех, а другого – во всесожжение, чтобы грехи левитов были прощены.

13 A nd thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them as a wave-offering to Jehovah.

Поставь левитов перед Аароном и его сыновьями, и посвяти их Господу, как приношение потрясания.

14 A nd thou shalt separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, that the Levites may be mine.

Так ты отделишь левитов от остальных израильтян, и левиты станут Моими.

15 A nd afterwards shall the Levites come in to do the service of the tent of meeting. And thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them as a wave-offering.

Когда ты очистишь левитов и посвятишь их, как приношение потрясания, пусть они войдут, чтобы служить при шатре собрания.

16 F or they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of every one that breaketh open the womb, instead of every firstborn among the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.

Они – те израильтяне, которых нужно полностью отдать Мне. Я беру их Себе вместо первенцев, первого ребенка мужского пола любой израильтянки.

17 F or all the firstborn among the children of Israel are mine, both of man and beast; on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I hallowed them to myself.

Все первенцы мужского пола в Израиле – человек или животное – принадлежат Мне. Я отделил их Себе, умертвив всех первенцев в Египте.

18 A nd I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel.

Я взял левитов вместо всех первородных сыновей Израиля.

19 A nd I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons, from among the children of Israel, to perform the service of the children of Israel in the tent of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel; that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel draw near to the sanctuary.

Я предназначил левитов в дар от израильтян Аарону и его сыновьям, чтобы они служили за израильтян при шатре собрания и совершали для них отпущение, чтобы никакая напасть не поразила израильтян, если они приблизятся к святилищу.

20 A nd Moses and Aaron, and all the assembly of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites: so did the children of Israel to them.

Моисей, Аарон и все общество Израиля поступили с левитами точно так, как повелел Моисею Господь.

21 A nd the Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their garments; and Aaron offered them as a wave-offering before Jehovah; and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.

Левиты очистились и выстирали одежду. Аарон посвятил их Господу, как приношение потрясания, и совершил для них отпущение, чтобы очистить их.

22 A nd afterwards the Levites came in to perform their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron, and before his sons; as Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they to them.

После этого левиты вошли, чтобы служить при шатре собрания под началом Аарона и его сыновей. Они поступили с левитами точно так, как повелел Моисею Господь.

23 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Господь сказал Моисею:

24 T his is that which concerneth the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward shall he come to labour in the work of the service of the tent of meeting.

– Это касается левитов: пусть мужчины двадцати пяти лет и старше принимаются за свои обязанности по службе при шатре собрания,

25 A nd from fifty years old he shall retire from the labour of the service, and shall serve no more;

но в пятьдесят лет пусть удаляются от постоянного служения и больше не служат.

26 b ut he shall minister with his brethren in the tent of meeting, and keep the charge, but he shall not serve the service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites with regard to their charges.

Они могут помогать своим братьям исполнять их обязанности при шатре собрания, но сами пусть не служат. Так ты обозначишь левитам их обязанности.
