1 A nd Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

2 S peak unto the children of Israel, that they take for me an offering: of every man whose heart maketh him willing ye shall take my offering.

«Diles a los hijos de Israel que tomen una ofrenda para mí. La tomarán de todo aquel que de voluntad y de corazón quiera darla.

3 A nd this is the offering which ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and brass,

La ofrenda que recibirán de ellos es la siguiente: oro, plata, cobre,

4 a nd blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

azul, púrpura, carmesí, lino fino, pelo de cabra,

5 a nd rams' skins dyed red, and sealskins, and acacia wood,

piel de carnero teñida de rojo, piel de delfín, madera de acacia,

6 o il for the light, spices for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

aceite para las lámparas, especias para el aceite de la unción y para el incienso aromático,

7 o nyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

piedras de ónice, y piedras de engaste para el efod y para el pectoral.

8 A nd let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.

Y harán un santuario en mi honor, y yo habitaré en medio de ellos.

9 A ccording to all that I show thee, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the furniture thereof, even so shall ye make it.

El diseño del tabernáculo y de todos sus utensilios lo harán todo en conformidad con todo lo que yo te muestre. El arca del testimonio

10 A nd they shall make an ark of acacia wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

»Harán también un arca de madera de acacia, de un metro y diez centímetros de largo, sesenta y cinco centímetros de ancho, y sesenta y cinco centímetros de alto.

11 A nd thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.

La recubrirás de oro puro por dentro y por fuera, y alrededor de ella le harás una cornisa de oro.

12 A nd thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four feet thereof; and two rings shall be on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.

Le fundirás cuatro anillos de oro, y se los pondrás en sus cuatro esquinas; dos anillos en un costado y dos anillos en el otro.

13 A nd thou shalt make staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.

Harás unas varas de madera de acacia, y las recubrirás de oro.

14 A nd thou shalt put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, wherewith to bear the ark.

Meterás las varas por los anillos en los costados del arca, y con ellas llevarás el arca.

15 T he staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.

Las varas no deben quitarse del arca, sino quedarse en sus anillos.

16 A nd thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

En el arca pondrás el testimonio que yo te daré.

17 A nd thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

»Harás un propiciatorio de oro fino, de un metro y diez centímetros de largo por sesenta y cinco centímetros de ancho.

18 A nd thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; of beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.

Harás también dos querubines de oro, labrados a martillo, que irán en los dos extremos del propiciatorio.

19 A nd make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end: of one piece with the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim on the two ends thereof.

Un querubín irá en un extremo, y un querubín en el otro extremo, y formarán una pieza con el propiciatorio.

20 A nd the cherubim shall spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

Los querubines extenderán sus alas y cubrirán con ellas el propiciatorio. Sus rostros estarán el uno frente al otro, mirando hacia el propiciatorio.

21 A nd thou shalt put the mercy-seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

El propiciatorio lo pondrás encima del arca, y dentro del arca pondrás el testimonio que yo te daré.

22 A nd there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

Desde allí te haré saber todo lo que yo te ordene decir a los hijos de Israel. Hablaré contigo desde la parte superior del propiciatorio, de entre los dos querubines que están sobre el arca del testimonio. La mesa para el pan de la proposición

23 A nd thou shalt make a table of acacia wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

»Harás también una mesa de madera de acacia, de noventa centímetros de largo por cuarenta y cinco centímetros de ancho, y sesenta y cinco centímetros de alto.

24 A nd thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.

La recubrirás de oro puro, y alrededor de ella le harás una cornisa de oro.

25 A nd thou shalt make unto it a border of a handbreadth round about; and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.

Le harás también una moldura alrededor, de siete centímetros de ancho, y alrededor de la moldura harás una cornisa de oro.

26 A nd thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

Le harás cuatro anillos de oro, que irán en las cuatro esquinas que corresponden a sus cuatro patas.

27 C lose by the border shall the rings be, for places for the staves to bear the table.

Los anillos quedarán debajo de la moldura, para que pasen por allí las varas para llevar la mesa.

28 A nd thou shalt make the staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.

»Las varas las harás de madera de acacia, y las recubrirás de oro. Con ellas será llevada la mesa.

29 A nd thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and the spoons thereof, and the flagons thereof, and the bowls thereof, wherewith to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

Harás también de oro fino sus platones, sus cucharas, sus cubiertas y sus tazones para las ofrendas de libación.

30 A nd thou shalt set upon the table showbread before me alway.

Sobre la mesa pondrás el pan de la proposición, que continuamente estará delante de mí. El candelero de oro

31 A nd thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made, even its base, and its shaft; its cups, its knops, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.

»Harás también un candelero de oro puro, labrado a martillo. Su pie, su caña, sus copas, sus manzanas y sus flores, serán también de oro puro.

32 A nd there shall be six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:

De sus costados saldrán seis brazos; tres de un costado del candelero, y tres brazos del otro costado.

33 t hree cups made like almond-blossoms in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three cups made like almond-blossoms in the other branch, a knop and a flower: so for the six branches going out of the candlestick:

En cada uno de los seis brazos que salen del candelero habrá tres copas en forma de flor de almendro, una manzana y una flor.

34 a nd in the candlestick four cups made like almond-blossoms, the knops thereof, and the flowers thereof;

En la caña central del candelero habrá cuatro copas en forma de flor de almendro, con sus manzanas y sus flores.

35 a nd a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the candlestick.

En los seis brazos que salen del candelero habrá una manzana debajo de cada dos brazos, es decir, tres manzanas para los seis brazos.

36 T heir knops and their branches shall be of one piece with it; the whole of it one beaten work of pure gold.

Las manzanas y los brazos deben formar una sola pieza, y ser todo ello de oro puro, labrado a martillo.

37 A nd thou shalt make the lamps thereof, seven: and they shall light the lamps thereof, to give light over against it.

Le harás siete lamparillas, las cuales encenderás de modo que alumbren hacia adelante.

38 A nd the snuffers thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.

Sus despabiladeras y sus platillos deben ser también de oro puro.

39 O f a talent of pure gold shall it be made, with all these vessels.

Usarás para ello treinta kilos de oro fino, con todos estos utensilios.

40 A nd see that thou make them after their pattern, which hath been showed thee in the mount.

Pon cuidado en hacerlo todo según el modelo que se te ha mostrado en el monte.
