1 P raise ye Jehovah. I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart, In the council of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 T he works of Jehovah are great, Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

Las obras del Señor son grandes; todos los que las desean, las buscan.

3 H is work is honor and majesty; And his righteousness endureth for ever.

La creación del Señor es hermosa, y su justicia permanece para siempre.

4 H e hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: Jehovah is gracious and merciful.

El Señor es bondadoso y compasivo, y todo lo que hace merece recordarse.

5 H e hath given food unto them that fear him: He will ever be mindful of his covenant.

El Señor alimenta a quienes lo honran, y nunca se olvida de su pacto.

6 H e hath showed his people the power of his works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.

Reveló a su pueblo su gran poder, y le dio en propiedad las tierras de otras naciones.

7 T he works of his hands are truth and justice; All his precepts are sure.

Todo lo que él hace es justo y verdadero; sus mandamientos son dignos de confianza.

8 T hey are established for ever and ever; They are done in truth and uprightness.

Se mantendrán firmes para siempre, porque los hizo con verdad y rectitud.

9 H e hath sent redemption unto his people; He hath commanded his covenant for ever: Holy and reverend is his name.

El Señor rescató a su pueblo, y estableció su pacto para siempre. El nombre del Señor es santo y temible.

10 T he fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do his commandments: His praise endureth for ever.

El principio de la sabiduría es el temor al Señor. Quienes practican esto adquieren entendimiento y alaban al Señor toda su vida.
