3 A nd the children of Israel gave unto the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of Jehovah, these cities with their suburbs.

Entonces de su propia herencia el pueblo de Israel les dio a los levitas ciudades con sus ejidos, porque el Señor se lo había prometido.

4 A nd the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites: and the children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.

El primer sorteo fue para las familias de los coatitas, que eran descendientes del sacerdote Aarón y también levitas. Ellos recibieron ciudades de las tribus de Judá, de Simeón y de Benjamín; en total, trece ciudades.

5 A nd the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.

Los hijos de Gersón recibieron por sorteo trece ciudades de las tribus de Isacar, de Aser, de Neftalí y de la media tribu de Manasés que se había quedado en Basán.

7 T he children of Merari according to their families had out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

Los hijos de Merari recibieron doce ciudades de las tribus de Rubén, de Gad y de Zabulón, según el número de sus familias.

8 A nd the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as Jehovah commanded by Moses.

Los hijos de Israel les dieron a los levitas, por sorteo, estas ciudades con sus ejidos, tal y como el Señor se lo ordenó a Moisés.

9 A nd they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are here mentioned by name:

10 a nd they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.

Los levitas que aun quedaban, y que pertenecían a las familias de los hijos de Coat, recibieron por sorteo cuatro ciudades de la tribu de Efraín.

26 A ll the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbs.

40 A ll these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites; and their lot was twelve cities.

41 A ll the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the children of Israel were forty and eight cities with their suburbs.

En total, las ciudades con sus ejidos que recibieron los levitas de entre las posesiones del pueblo de Israel, fueron cuarenta y ocho.

42 T hese cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: thus it was with all these cities.

Estas ciudades estaban distantes entre sí, y todas estaban rodeadas de sus ejidos. Israel ocupa la tierra

43 S o Jehovah gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

Así fue como el Señor dio a Israel toda la tierra que había jurado a sus padres que les daría, y de la cual tomaron en posesión para habitarla.

44 A nd Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; Jehovah delivered all their enemies into their hand.

Y el Señor les dio reposo, conforme a todo lo que les había prometido a sus padres. Ninguno de sus enemigos pudo presentarles batalla, porque el Señor los había vencido.

45 T here failed not aught of any good thing which Jehovah had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.

No faltó una sola de todas las promesas que el Señor le había hecho a la casa de Israel. Todas ellas se cumplieron.
