1 D ice el necio en su corazón: «No hay Dios.» Se han corrompido, hacen obras despreciables, no hay quien haga lo bueno.
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.
2 J ehová miró desde los cielos sobre los hijos de los hombres, para ver si había algún entendido que buscara a Dios.
Yahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.
3 T odos se desviaron, a una se han corrompido; no hay quien haga lo bueno, no hay ni siquiera uno.
They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.
4 ¿ No tienen discernimiento todos los que cometen maldad, que devoran a mi pueblo como si comieran pan y no invocan a Jehová?
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on Yahweh?
5 E llos temblarán de espanto, porque Dios está con la generación de los justos.
There they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 D e los planes del pobre se han burlado, pero Jehová es su esperanza.
You frustrate the plan of the poor, because Yahweh is his refuge.
7 ¡ Ah, si de Sión viniera la salvación de Israel! Cuando Jehová haga volver a los cautivos de su pueblo, se gozará Jacob, se alegrará Israel.
Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
