62 E stos buscaron su registro genealógico, pero como no lo hallaron, fueron excluidos del sacerdocio,

These sought their listing among those who were registered by genealogy, but they were not found; therefore they were excluded from the priesthood as defiled.

63 E l gobernador les dijo que no comieran de las cosas más santas, hasta que hubiera sacerdote que consultara con Urim y Tumim.

And the governor said to them that they should not eat of the most holy things till a priest could consult with the Urim and Thummim.

68 A lgunos de los jefes de casas paternas, cuando vinieron a la casa de Jehová que estaba en Jerusalén, hicieron ofrendas voluntarias para la casa de Dios, para reedificarla en su sitio.

Some of the heads of the fathers’ houses, when they came to the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God, to erect it in its place:

69 S egún sus posibilidades, dieron al tesorero de la obra sesenta y un mil dracmas de oro, cinco mil libras de plata y cien túnicas sacerdotales.

According to their ability, they gave to the treasury for the work sixty-one thousand gold drachmas, five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priestly garments.

70 H abitaron los sacerdotes, los levitas, los del pueblo, los cantores, los porteros y los sirvientes del Templo en sus ciudades. Todo Israel habitó, pues, en sus ciudades.

So the priests and the Levites, some of the people, the singers, the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
