1 V i un ángel que descendía del cielo con la llave del abismo y una gran cadena en la mano.

Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 P rendió al dragón, la serpiente antigua, que es el Diablo y Satanás, y lo ató por mil años.

He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

3 L o arrojó al abismo, lo encerró y puso un sello sobre él, para que no engañara más a las naciones hasta que fueran cumplidos mil años. Después de esto debe ser desatado por un poco de tiempo.

and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while. The Saints Reign with Christ 1, 000 Years

4 V i tronos, y se sentaron sobre ellos los que recibieron facultad de juzgar. Y vi las almas de los decapitados por causa del testimonio de Jesús y por la palabra de Dios, los que no habían adorado a la bestia ni a su imagen, ni recibieron la marca en sus frentes ni en sus manos; y vivieron y reinaron con Cristo mil años.

And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

5 P ero los otros muertos no volvieron a vivir hasta que se cumplieron mil años. Ésta es la primera resurrección.

But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 B ienaventurado y santo el que tiene parte en la primera resurrección; la segunda muerte no tiene poder sobre estos, sino que serán sacerdotes de Dios y de Cristo y reinarán con él mil años.

Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Satanic Rebellion Crushed

7 C uando los mil años se cumplan, Satanás será suelto de su prisión

Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison

8 y saldrá a engañar a las naciones que están en los cuatro ángulos de la tierra, a Gog y a Magog, a fin de reunirlos para la batalla. Su número es como la arena del mar.

and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.

9 S ubieron por la anchura de la tierra y rodearon el campamento de los santos y la ciudad amada; pero de Dios descendió fuego del cielo y los consumió.

They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

10 Y el diablo, que los engañaba, fue lanzado en el lago de fuego y azufre donde estaban la bestia y el falso profeta; y serán atormentados día y noche por los siglos de los siglos. El juicio ante el gran trono blanco

The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. The Great White Throne Judgment

11 V i un gran trono blanco y al que estaba sentado en él, de delante del cual huyeron la tierra y el cielo y ningún lugar se halló ya para ellos.

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.

12 Y vi los muertos, grandes y pequeños, de pie ante Dios. Los libros fueron abiertos, y otro libro fue abierto, el cual es el libro de la vida. Y fueron juzgados los muertos por las cosas que estaban escritas en los libros, según sus obras.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

13 E l mar entregó los muertos que había en él, y la muerte y el Hades entregaron los muertos que había en ellos, y fueron juzgados cada uno según sus obras.

The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.

14 L a muerte y el Hades fueron lanzados al lago de fuego. Ésta es la muerte segunda.

Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 E l que no se halló inscrito en el libro de la vida, fue lanzado al lago de fuego.

And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
