“To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

2 » ”‘Yo conozco tus obras, tu arduo trabajo y tu perseverancia, y que no puedes soportar a los malos, has probado a los que se dicen ser apóstoles y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos.

“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;

3 H as sufrido, has sido perseverante, has trabajado arduamente por amor de mi nombre y no has desmayado.

and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary.

4 P ero tengo contra ti que has dejado tu primer amor.

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

5 R ecuerda, por tanto, de dónde has caído, arrepiéntete y haz las primeras obras, pues si no te arrepientes, pronto vendré a ti y quitaré tu candelabro de su lugar.

Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

6 P ero tienes esto: que aborreces las obras de los nicolaítas, las cuales yo también aborrezco.

But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

7 E l que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al vencedor le daré a comer del árbol de la vida, que está en medio del paraíso de Dios.’” El mensaje a Esmirna

8 » Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Esmirna: »“El primero y el postrero, el que estuvo muerto y vivió, dice esto:

“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, ‘These things says the First and the Last, who was dead, and came to life:

9 » ”‘Yo conozco tus obras, tu tribulación, tu pobreza (aunque eres rico) y la blasfemia de los que dicen ser judíos y no lo son, sino que son sinagoga de Satanás.

“I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

10 N o temas lo que has de padecer. El diablo echará a algunos de vosotros en la cárcel para que seáis probados, y tendréis tribulación por diez días. ¡Sé fiel hasta la muerte y yo te daré la corona de la vida!

Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

11 E l que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. El vencedor no sufrirá daño de la segunda muerte.’” El mensaje a Pérgamo

12 » Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Pérgamo: »“El que tiene la espada aguda de dos filos dice esto:

“And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write, ‘These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:

13 » ”‘Yo conozco tus obras y dónde habitas: donde está el trono de Satanás. Pero retienes mi nombre y no has negado mi fe ni aun en los días en que Antipas, mi testigo fiel, fue muerto entre vosotros, donde habita Satanás.

“I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

14 P ero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: que tienes ahí a los que retienen la doctrina de Balaam, que enseñaba a Balac a poner tropiezo ante los hijos de Israel, a comer de cosas sacrificadas a los ídolos y a cometer fornicación.

But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.

15 Y también tienes a los que retienen la doctrina de los nicolaítas, la que yo aborrezco.

Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

16 P or tanto, arrepiéntete, pues si no, vendré pronto hasta ti y pelearé contra ellos con la espada de mi boca.

Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

17 E l que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al vencedor le daré de comer del maná escondido, y le daré una piedrecita blanca y en la piedrecita un nombre nuevo escrito, el cual nadie conoce sino el que lo recibe.’” El mensaje a Tiatira

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it. ”’ The Corrupt Church

18 » Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Tiatira: »“El Hijo de Dios, el que tiene ojos como llama de fuego y pies semejantes al bronce pulido, dice esto:

“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:

19 » ”‘Yo conozco tus obras, tu amor, tu fe, tu servicio, tu perseverancia y que tus obras postreras son superiores a las primeras.

“I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.

20 P ero tengo contra ti que toleras que esa mujer Jezabel, que se dice profetisa, enseñe y seduzca a mis siervos para fornicar y para comer cosas sacrificadas a los ídolos.

Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.

21 Y o le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta, pero no quiere arrepentirse de su fornicación.

And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent.

22 P or tanto, yo la arrojo en cama; y en gran tribulación a los que adulteran con ella, si no se arrepienten de las obras de ella.

Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.

23 A sus hijos heriré de muerte y todas las iglesias sabrán que yo soy el que escudriña la mente y el corazón. Os daré a cada uno según vuestras obras.

I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

24 P ero a los demás que están en Tiatira, a cuantos no tienen esa doctrina y no han conocido lo que ellos llaman ‘las profundidades de Satanás’, yo os digo: No os impongo otra carga;

“Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden.

25 p ero lo que tenéis, retenedlo hasta que yo venga.

But hold fast what you have till I come.

26 A l vencedor que guarde mis obras hasta el fin, yo le daré autoridad sobre las naciones;

And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—

27 l as regirá con vara de hierro y serán quebradas como un vaso de alfarero; como yo también la he recibido de mi Padre.

‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’ — as I also have received from My Father;

28 Y le daré la estrella de la mañana.

and I will give him the morning star.

29 E l que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.’”
