When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

2 L uego vi los siete ángeles que estaban de pie ante Dios, y se les dieron siete trompetas.

And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.

3 O tro ángel vino entonces y se paró ante el altar, con un incensario de oro; y se le dio mucho incienso para añadirlo a las oraciones de todos los santos sobre el altar de oro que estaba delante del trono.

Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

4 E l humo del incienso con las oraciones de los santos subió de la mano del ángel a la presencia de Dios.

And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.

5 Y el ángel tomó el incensario, lo llenó del fuego del altar y lo arrojó a la tierra; y hubo truenos, voces, relámpagos y un terremoto. Las seis primeras trompetas

Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 L os siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas se dispusieron a tocarlas.

So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. First Trumpet: Vegetation Struck

7 E l primer ángel tocó la trompeta, y hubo granizo y fuego mezclados con sangre que fueron lanzados sobre la tierra. Y se quemó la tercera parte de los árboles, y toda la hierba verde fue quemada.

The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. Second Trumpet: The Seas Struck

8 E l segundo ángel tocó la trompeta, y algo como un gran monte ardiendo en fuego fue precipitado en el mar. La tercera parte del mar se convirtió en sangre,

Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.

9 m urió la tercera parte de los seres vivientes que estaban en el mar y la tercera parte de las naves fue destruida.

And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. Third Trumpet: The Waters Struck

10 E l tercer ángel tocó la trompeta, y cayó del cielo una gran estrella ardiendo como una antorcha. Cayó sobre la tercera parte de los ríos y sobre las fuentes de las aguas.

Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.

11 E l nombre de la estrella es Ajenjo. La tercera parte de las aguas se convirtió en ajenjo y muchos hombres murieron a causa de esas aguas, porque se volvieron amargas.

The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Fourth Trumpet: The Heavens Struck

12 E l cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta, y fue herida la tercera parte del sol, la tercera parte de la luna y la tercera parte de las estrellas, para que se oscureciera la tercera parte de ellos y no hubiera luz en la tercera parte del día, y asimismo en la noche.

Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

13 M iré, y oí un ángel que volaba en medio del cielo y decía a gran voz: «¡Ay, ay, ay de los que habitan en la tierra, a causa de los otros toques de trompeta que están para tocar los tres ángeles!»

And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”
