1 P ermanezca el amor fraternal.

Let brotherly love continue.

2 N o os olvidéis de la hospitalidad, porque por ella algunos, sin saberlo, hospedaron ángeles.

Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.

3 A cordaos de los presos, como si estuvierais presos juntamente con ellos; y de los maltratados, como que también vosotros mismos estáis en el cuerpo.

Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.

4 S ea honroso en todos el matrimonio, y el lecho sin mancilla; pero a los fornicarios y a los adúlteros los juzgará Dios.

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

5 S ea vuestra manera de vivir sin avaricia, contentos con lo que tenéis ahora; porque él dijo: De ningún modo te desampararé, ni te dejaré;

Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

6 d e manera que podemos decir confiadamente: El Señor es mi ayudador; no temeré Lo que me pueda hacer el hombre.

So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

7 A cordaos de vuestros pastores, que os hablaron la palabra de Dios; considerad cuál haya sido el resultado de su conducta, e imitad su fe.

Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.

8 J esucristo es el mismo, ayer, y hoy, y por los siglos.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

9 N o os dejéis llevar de doctrinas diversas y extrañas; porque buena cosa es afianzar el corazón con la gracia, no con viandas, que nunca aprovecharon a los que se han ocupado de ellas.

Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

10 T enemos un altar, del cual no tienen derecho a comer los que sirven al tabernáculo.

We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.

11 P orque los cuerpos de aquellos animales cuya sangre es introducida en el santuario por el sumo sacerdote como ofrenda por el pecado, son quemados fuera del campamento.

For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.

12 P or lo cual también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo mediante su propia sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta.

Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.

13 S algamos, pues, adonde él, fuera del campamento, llevando su vituperio;

Let us therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.

14 p orque no tenemos aquí una ciudad permanente, sino que buscamos la que está por venir.

For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come.

15 A sí que, ofrezcamos siempre a Dios, por medio de él, sacrificio de alabanza, es decir, fruto de labios que confiesan su nombre.

Through him, then, let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.

16 Y no os olvidéis de hacer el bien y de la ayuda mutua; porque de tales sacrificios se agrada Dios.

But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

17 O bedeced a vuestros pastores, y someteos a ellos; porque ellos velan por vuestras almas, como quienes han de dar cuenta; para que lo hagan con alegría, y no quejándose, porque esto no os es provechoso.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy, and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.

18 O rad por nosotros; pues confiamos en que tenemos buena conciencia, deseando conducirnos bien en todo.

Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.

19 Y os ruego con más insistencia que lo hagáis así, para que yo os sea restituido más pronto. Bendición y saludos finales

I strongly urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.

20 Y el Dios de paz que resucitó de los muertos a nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el gran pastor de las ovejas, en virtud de la sangre del pacto eterno,

Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus,

21 o s haga aptos en toda obra buena para que hagáis su voluntad, haciendo él en vosotros lo que es agradable delante de él por medio de Jesucristo; al cual sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

22 O s ruego, hermanos, que soportéis estas palabras de exhortación, pues os he escrito brevemente.

But I exhort you, brothers, endure the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.

23 S abed que está en libertad nuestro hermano Timoteo, con el cual, si viene pronto, iré a veros.

Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.

24 S aludad a todos vuestros pastores, y a todos los santos. Los de Italia os saludan.

Greet all of your leaders and all the saints. The Italians greet you.

25 L a gracia sea con todos vosotros. Amén.
