1 R evelación de Jesucristo, que Dios le dio, para mostrar a sus siervos las cosas que deben suceder en seguida; y la dio a entender enviándola por medio de su ángel a su siervo Juan,

This is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things which must happen soon, which he sent and made known by his angel to his servant, John,

2 q ue ha dado testimonio de la palabra de Dios, y del testimonio de Jesucristo, y de todas las cosas que vio.

who testified to God’s word, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, about everything that he saw.

3 B ienaventurado el que lee, y los que oyen las palabras de esta profecía, y guardan las cosas escritas en ella; porque el tiempo está cerca. Saludos a las siete iglesias

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.

4 J uan, a las siete iglesias que están en Asia: Gracia y paz a vosotros, del que es y que era y que ha de venir, y de los siete espíritus que están delante de su trono;

John, to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from God, who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits who are before his throne;

5 y de Jesucristo el testigo fiel, el primogénito de los muertos, y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra. Al que nos amó, y nos liberó de nuestros pecados con su sangre,

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood;

6 e hizo de nosotros un reino, sacerdotes para su Dios y Padre; a él sea la gloria y el dominio por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

and he made us to be a Kingdom, priests to his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

7 H e aquí que viene con las nubes, y todo ojo le verá, y los que le traspasaron; y todos los linajes de la tierra harán lamentación por él. Sí, amén.

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

8 Y o soy el Alfa y la Omega, principio y fin, dice el Señor Dios, el que es y que era y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso. Visión del Hijo del Hombre

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, ” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

9 Y o, Juan, vuestro hermano, y copartícipe vuestro en la tribulación, en el reino y en la paciencia de Jesucristo, estaba en la isla llamada Patmos, por causa de la palabra de Dios y el testimonio de Jesucristo.

I John, your brother and partner with you in oppression, Kingdom, and perseverance in Christ Jesus, was on the isle that is called Patmos because of God’s Word and the testimony of Jesus Christ.

10 Y o estuve en espíritu en el día del Señor, y oí detrás de mí una gran voz como de trompeta,

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet

11 q ue decía: Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el primero y el último. Escribe en un libro lo que ves, y envíalo a las siete iglesias que están en Asia: a Éfeso, Esmirna, Pérgamo, Tiatira, Sardis, Filadelfia y Laodicea.

saying, “ What you see, write in a book and send to the seven assemblies: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

12 Y me volví para ver la voz que hablaba conmigo; y al volverme, vi siete candeleros de oro,

I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Having turned, I saw seven golden lamp stands.

13 y en medio de los siete candeleros, a uno semejante al Hijo del Hombre, vestido de una ropa que llegaba hasta los pies, y ceñido por el pecho con un cinto de oro.

And among the lamp stands was one like a son of man, clothed with a robe reaching down to his feet, and with a golden sash around his chest.

14 S u cabeza y sus cabellos eran blancos como blanca lana, como nieve; sus ojos como llama de fuego;

His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.

15 y sus pies semejantes al bronce bruñido, refulgente como en un horno; y su voz como estruendo de muchas aguas.

His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.

16 T enía en su mano derecha siete estrellas; de su boca salía una espada aguda de dos filos; y su rostro era como el sol cuando brilla en todo su esplendor.

He had seven stars in his right hand. Out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining at its brightest.

17 C uando le vi, caí como muerto a sus pies. Y puso su diestra sobre mí, diciéndome: No temas; yo soy el primero y el último;

When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He laid his right hand on me, saying, “Don’t be afraid. I am the first and the last,

18 y el que vivo, y estuve muerto; mas he aquí que estoy vivo por los siglos de los siglos, amén. Y tengo las llaves de la muerte y del Hades.

and the Living one. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever more. Amen. I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

19 E scribe las cosas que has visto, y las que son, y las que han de ser después de éstas.

Write therefore the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will happen hereafter;

20 E l misterio de las siete estrellas que has visto en mi diestra, y de los siete candeleros de oro: las siete estrellas son los ángeles de las siete iglesias, y los siete candeleros que has visto son las siete iglesias.

the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lamp stands. The seven stars are the angels of the seven assemblies. The seven lamp stands are seven assemblies.
