1 C hildren, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

4 A nd you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Bondservants and Masters

Y vosotros, padres, no provoquéis a ira a vuestros hijos, sino criadlos en la disciplina e instrucción del Señor. Relaciones entre amos y siervos

5 B ondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

Siervos, obedeced a vuestros amos en la tierra, con temor y temblor, con la sinceridad de vuestro corazón, como a Cristo;

6 n ot with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

7 w ith goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

10 F inally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Por lo demás, fortaleceos en el Señor y en el poder de su fuerza.

11 P ut on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Revestíos con toda la armadura de Dios para que podáis estar firmes contra las insidias del diablo.

12 F or we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Porque nuestra lucha no es contra sangre y carne, sino contra principados, contra potestades, contra los poderes de este mundo de tinieblas, contra las huestes espirituales de maldad en las regiones celestiales.

13 T herefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 S tand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 a nd having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

y calzados los pies con el apresto del evangelio de la paz;

16 a bove all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

en todo, tomando el escudo de la fe con el que podréis apagar todos los dardos encendidos del maligno.

17 A nd take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

18 p raying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 a nd for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

22 w hom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our affairs, and that he may comfort your hearts.

23 P eace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
