1 ( По слав. 104). Славословете Господа; призовавайте името Му; Възвестявайте между племената делата Му.

O give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His doings among the peoples!

2 П ейте Му, славословете Го; Говорете за всичките Му чудесни дела.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them.

3 Х валете се с Неговото свето име; Нека се весели сърцето на ония, които търсят Господа.

Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord.

4 Т ърсете Господа и Неговата сила; Търсете лицето Му винаги.

Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength (His might and inflexibility to temptation); seek and require His face and His presence evermore.

5 П омнете чудесните дела, които е извършил. Знаменията Му и съдбите на устата Му,

remember the marvelous deeds that He has done, His miracles and wonders, the judgments and sentences which He pronounced.

6 В ие потомци на слугата Му Авраама, Чада Яковови, Негови избрани.

O you offspring of Abraham His servant, you children of Jacob, His chosen ones,

7 Т ой е Господ нашият Бог, Чиито съдби са по цялата земя.

He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

8 В сякога помни завета Си; Словото е заповядал да стои за хиляда поколения,

He is mindful of His covenant and forever it is imprinted on His heart, the word which He commanded and established to a thousand generations,

9 К оето изговори на Авраама, И клетвата, с която се закле на Исаака,

The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His sworn promise to Isaac,

10 К оято утвърди на Якова за закон, На Израиля за вечен завет.

Which He confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,

11 К ато рече: На тебе ще дам Ханаанската земя За дял на наследството ви.

Saying, Unto you will I give the land of Canaan as your measured portion, possession, and inheritance.

12 К огато те бяха още малко на брой Да! малцина и пришелци в нея,

When they were but a few men in number, in fact, very few, and were temporary residents and strangers in it,

13 И се скитаха от народ в народ, От едно царство в други люде,

When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people,

14 Т ой не остави никого да им напакости, Дори заради тях изобличи царе,

He allowed no man to do them wrong; in fact, He reproved kings for their sakes,

15 К ато каза: Да не докачите помазаните Ми, И да не сторите зло на пророците Ми

Saying, Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm.

16 П осле призова глад на земята, Строши всяка подпорка от хляб.

Moreover, He called for a famine upon the land; He cut off every source of bread.

17 И зпрати пред тях човека Иосифа, Който бе продаден като роб.

He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold as a servant.

18 С тиснаха нозете му с окови; Душата му участвуваше в притискането от желязото,

His feet they hurt with fetters; he was laid in chains of iron and his soul entered into the iron,

19 Д окато дойде време да се изпълни думата му; Защото словото Господно го изпитваше.

Until his word came true, until the word of the Lord tried and tested him.

20 Ц арят прати та го развърза, - Управителят на племена, - та го освободи.

The king sent and loosed him, even the ruler of the peoples, and let him go free.

21 П остави го господар на дома си, И управител на всичкия си имот,

He made Joseph lord of his house and ruler of all his substance,

22 З а да връзва първенците му по волята си, И да поучава старейшините му на мъдрост.

To bind his princes at his pleasure and teach his elders wisdom.

23 Т огава Израил дойде в Египет, Да! Яков се пресели в Хамовата земя;

Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24 Г дето Господ умножи людете Си много, И направи го по-силен от противниците им.

There greatly increased His people and made them stronger than their oppressors.

25 О бърна сърцето им да мразят людете Му. Да постъпват коварно със слугите Му

He turned the hearts to hate His people, to deal craftily with His servants.

26 П рати слугата Си Моисея, И Аарона, когото бе избрал.

He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen.

27 К оито извършиха всред тях знаменията Му И чудесата Му в Хамовата земя.

They showed His signs among them, wonders and miracles in the land of Ham (Egypt).

28 Т ой изпрати тъмнина и причини мрак, Дано не се възпротивят на думите Му.

He sent darkness and made the land dark, and they rebelled not against His word.

29 П ревърна водите им в кръв, И измори рибите им.

He turned waters into blood and caused their fish to die.

30 З емята им кипна с жаби Дори до вътрешните стаи на царете им.

Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, even in the chambers of their kings.

31 Т ой рече, и дойдоха рояци мухи, И въшки по всичките им предели.

He spoke, and there came swarms of beetles and flies and mosquitoes and lice in all their borders.

32 Д аде им град вместо дъжд, И пламенен огън в земята им.

He gave them hail for rain, with lightning like flaming fire in their land.

33 П орази тъй също лозята им и смоковниците им, И изпочупи всичките дървета в пределите им.

He smote their vines also and their fig trees and broke the trees of their borders.

34 Р ече, та дойдоха скакалци И безчислени гъсеници,

He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshoppers, and that without number,

35 К оито изпоядоха всичката трева по земята им; И изпоядоха плода на нивите им.

And ate up all the vegetation in their land and devoured the fruit of their ground.

36 П орази и всичките първородни в земята им, Първака на силата на всички тях.

He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the beginning and chief substance of all their strength.

37 И изведе людете Си със сребро и злато; И нямаше ни един между племената им, който се спъваше по пътя.

He brought forth also with silver and gold, and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

38 Р азвесели се Египет, когато си излязоха; Защото страх от тях бе го нападнал.

Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen upon the people.

39 Р азпростря облак да ги покрива. И огън да им свети нощем.

The Lord spread a cloud for a covering, and a fire to give light in the night.

40 Т е поискаха и Той им докара пъдпъдъци, И с небесния хляб ги насити.

asked, and He brought quails and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41 Р азцепи канарата, и бликнаха води, Потекоха в безводните места като река.

He opened the rock, and water gushed out; it ran in the dry places like a river.

42 З ащото си припомни Своето свето обещание Към слугата Си Авраама.

For He remembered His holy word and promise to Abraham His servant.

43 Т ака изведе людете Си с веселие, Избраните Си с пеене.

And He brought forth His people with joy, and His chosen ones with gladness and singing,

44 Д аде им земите на народите; И те усвоиха плода за който племената бяха се трудили.

And gave them the lands of the nations, and they reaped the fruits of those peoples’ labor,

45 З а да пазят Неговите повеления, И да изпълняват законите Му. Алилуя.

That they might observe His statutes and keep His laws. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
