1 С ловото, което дойде към Еремия за всичките Юдови люде, в четвъртата година на Юдовия цар Иоаким, Иосиевия син, която година бе и първа на Вавилонския цар Навуходоносора,

The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of the reign of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah—which was the first year of the reign of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon—

2 к оето слово пророк Еремия изговори на всичките Юдови люде и на всичките ерусалимски жители, като казва:

Which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem:

3 О т тринадесетата година на Юдовия цар Иосия, Амоновия син, дори до днес, тия двадесет и три години, Господното слово дохождаше към мене; и аз ви говорех; но вие не послушахте.

For these twenty-three years—from the thirteenth year of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah, even to this day—the word of the Lord has come to me and I have spoken to you persistently early and late, but you have not listened and obeyed.

4 И Господ прати до вас всичките Си слуги пророците, като ставаше рано и ги пращаше, (но не послушахте, нито приклонихте ухо да послушате),

Although the Lord persistently sent you all the prophets, His servants, yet you have not listened and obeyed or inclined your ear to hear.

5 и те казваха: Върнете се сега всеки от лошия си път и от злите си дела, и населявайте земята, която Господ даде на вас и на бащите ви от века и до века;

saying, Turn again now every one from his evil way and wrongdoing; dwell in the land that the Lord gave to you and to your fathers from of old and forevermore.

6 и не отивайте след други богове, за да им служите и да им се кланяте, и не Ме разгневявайте с делата на ръцете си; и Аз няма да ви сторя зло.

Do not go after other gods to serve and worship them, and do not provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands. Then I will do you no harm.

7 Н о вие не Ме послушахте, казва Господ, като Ме разгневявахте с делата на ръцете си за собственото си зло.

Yet you have not listened to and obeyed Me, says the Lord, that you might provoke Me to anger with the works (idols) made by your hands to your own hurt.

8 З атова, така казва Господ на Силите: Понеже не послушахте думите Ми,

Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: Because you have not heard and obeyed My words,

9 е то, Аз ще изпратя и ще взема всичките северни родове, казва Господ, тоже и слугата Ми Навуходоносора, Вавилонския цар, та ще ги доведа против тая земя, и против нейните жители, и против всички тия околни народи; ще ги обрека на изтребление, и ще ги направя за учудване и за подсвиркване, и ще ги обърна на вечна пустота.

Behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, says the Lord, and I will send for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants and against all these nations round about; and I will devote them and utterly destroy them and make them an amazement, a hissing, and perpetual and agelong desolations.

10 П ри това, ще направя да престане между тях гласът на веселието и гласът на радостта, гласът на младоженеца и гласът на невестата, шумът на мелницата и светенето на светилото.

Moreover, I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones and the light of the candle.

11 И цялата тая земя ще бъде пуста и за учудване; и тия народи ще робуват на вавилонския цар седемдесет години.

And this whole land shall be a waste and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

12 А когато се свършат седемдесетте години, Аз ще накажа Вавилонския цар и оня народ за беззаконието им, казва Господ, също и Халдейската земя, която ще обърна във вечна пустота.

Then when seventy years are completed, I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, the land of the Chaldeans, says the Lord, for their iniquity, and will make the land a perpetual waste.

13 И ще докарам върху оная земя всичките неща, които съм говорил против нея, всичко що има писано в тая книга, което Еремия пророкува против всичките народи.

And I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations.

14 З ащото много народи и велики царе ще поробят и тях; Аз ще им въздам според делата им и според работата на ръцете им.

For many nations and great kings shall make bondmen of them, even them; and I will recompense them according to their deeds and according to the work of their hands.

15 З ащото така ми каза Господ, Израилевият Бог: Вземи от ръката Ми тая чаша с виното на яростта Ми, та напой от нея всичките народи, до които те пращам.

For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, to me: Take this cup of the wine of wrath from My hand and cause all the nations to whom I send you to drink it.

16 И като пият, ще политат и обезумеят поради ножа, който ще изпратя всред тях.

They shall drink and reel to and fro and be crazed because of the sword that I will send among them.

17 Т огава взех чашата от ръката на Господа, та напоих всичките народи, при които ме беше изпратил Господа, а именно:

Then I took the cup from the Lord’s hand and made all the nations drink it to whom the Lord had sent me:

18 Е русалим и Юдовите градове, с царете им и първенците им, за да ги обърна в пустота, и за да станат за учудване и подсвиркване и проклетия, както са днес;

Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is to this day;

19 е гипетският цар Фараона, със слугите му, първенците му, и всичките му люде;

Pharaoh king of Egypt, his servants, his princes, all his people,

20 в сичките разноплеменни люде, всичките царе на земята Уз, и всичките царе на Филистимската земя, с Аскалон, Газа, Акарон, и останалите от Азот;

And all the mixed foreign population; all the kings of the land of Uz; and all the kings of the land of the Philistines and Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;

21 Е дома, Моава, и амонците;

Edom, Moab, and the children of Ammon;

22 и всичките тирски царе, всичките сидонски царе, и царете на островите оттатък морето;

All the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the islands and the coastlands across the Sea;

23 Д едана, Тема, Вуза, и всички, които си стрижат издадените части на косата;

Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who clip off the corners of their hair and beards;

24 в сичките арабски царе, и всичките царе на разноплеменните люде, които населяват пустинята;

All the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the mixed foreign people who dwell in the desert;

25 в сичките зимрийски царе, всичките еламски царе, и всичките мидски царе;

All the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam (Persia), and all the kings of Media;

26 в сичките северни царе, ближните и далечните, едни с други, и всичките царства на света, които са по лицето на земята; а царят на Сесах ще пие подир тях.

All the kings of the north, far and near, one after another—and all the kingdoms of the world which are on the face of the earth. And after them the king of Sheshach (Babel or Babylon) shall drink.

27 З атова, ще им речеш - Така казва Господ на Силите, Израилевият Бог: Пийте и опийте се, повръщайте, паднете, и не ставайте вече, поради ножа, който ще изпратя всред вас.

Then you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink, be drunk, vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword which I am sending among you.

28 И ако откажат да вземат чашата от ръката ти и да пият, тогава да им речеш: Така казва Господ на Силите: Непременно ще пиете;

And if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord of hosts: You shall surely drink!

29 з ащото, ето, Аз докарвам зло като започвам от града, който се нарича по Моето име; и вие ли ще останете съвсем ненаказани? Няма да останете ненаказани, защото Аз ще призова нож върху всичките земни жители, казва Господ на Силите.

For behold, I am beginning to work evil in the city which is called by My Name, and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, for I am calling for a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, says the Lord of hosts.

30 З атова, пророкувай ти против тях всички тия неща, като им кажеш: Господ ще изреве свише, И ще издаде гласа Си от светото Си обиталище; Ще изреве силно против паството Си; Ще извика, като ония, които тъпчат грозде, Против всичките жители на света.

Therefore prophesy against them all these words and say to them: The Lord shall roar from on high and utter His voice from His holy habitation; He shall roar mightily against His fold and pasture. He shall give a shout like those who tread grapes against all the inhabitants of the earth.

31 Е котът ще стигне и до краищата на света, Защото Господ има съд с народите; Той ще се съди с всяка твар, Ще предаде нечестивите на нож, казва Господ.

A noise will come even to the ends of the earth, for the Lord has a controversy and an indictment against the nations; He will enter into judgment with all mankind; as for the wicked, He will give them to the sword, says the Lord.

32 Т ака казва Господ на Силите: Ето, зло ще излезе от народ към народ, И голям ураган ще се подигне От краищата на земята.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: Behold, evil will go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirling tempest will rise from the uttermost parts of the earth.

33 В оня ден убитите от Господа ще лежат От единия край на земята до другия край на земята; Няма да бъдат оплакани, нито прибрани, нито погребани; Ще бъдат за тор по повърхността на земята.

And those slain by the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented or gathered or buried; their shall be dung upon the ground.

34 Л елекайте, пастири и извикайте, И вие, началници на стадото, валяйте се в пръстта; Защото напълно настана времето, за да бъдете заклани и разпръснати, И ще паднете като отбран съд.

Wail, you shepherds, and cry; and roll in ashes, you principal ones of the flock. For the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions have fully come, and you shall fall and be dashed into pieces like a choice vessel.

35 И пастирите не ще имат средство за избягване, Нито началниците на стадото за избавление.

And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal ones of the flock any means of escape.

36 Г лас на вопъл от пастирите, И виене от началниците на стадото! Защото Господ опустошава пасбището им.

A voice! The cry of the shepherds and the wailing of the principal ones of the flock! For the Lord is laying waste and destroying their pasture.

37 И мирните кошари занемяха От пламенния гняв на Господа.

And the peaceable folds are devastated and brought to silence because of the fierce anger of the Lord.

38 Т ой е оставил убежището Си като лъв; Да! земята им стана за учудване От лютостта на насилника, И от яростния Му гняв.

He has left His shelter like the lion; for their land has become a waste and an astonishment because of the fierceness of the oppressor and because of fierce anger.
