1 ( По слав. 114). Любя Господа, защото послуша Гласа ми и молбите ми;

I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications.

2 П онеже приклони ухото Си към мене, Затова ще Го призовавам догдето съм жив.

Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore will I call upon Him as long as I live.

3 В ръзките на смъртта ме обвиха, И мъките на преизподнята ме намериха; Скръб и беда срещнах.

The cords and sorrows of death were around me, and the terrors of Sheol (the place of the dead) had laid hold of me; I suffered anguish and grief (trouble and sorrow).

4 Т огава призовах името Господно, и Го помолих; О Господи, избави душата ми.

Then called I upon the name of the Lord: O Lord, I beseech You, save my life and deliver me!

5 Б лаг е Господ и праведен, Да! милостив е нашият Бог.

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yes, our God is merciful.

6 Г оспод пази простодушните; В беда бях, и Той ме избави.

The Lord preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He helped and saved me.

7 В ърни се, душе моя, в успокоението си, Защото Господ постъпи щедро към тебе.

Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.

8 П онеже си избавил душата ми от смърт, Очите ми от сълзи, и нозете ми от подхлъзване,

For You have delivered my life from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling and falling.

9 З атова ще ходя пред Господа в земята на живите. (По слав. 115)

I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

10 ( 1)Аз повярвах, затова говорих; Много бях наскърбен.

I believed (trusted in, relied on, and clung to my God), and therefore have I spoken, I am greatly afflicted.

11 ( 2)В тревогата си рекох: Всеки човек е измамлив.

I said in my haste, All men are deceitful and liars.

12 ( 3)Що да въздам Господу За всичките Му благодеяния към мене?

What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits toward me?

13 ( 4)Ще взема чашата на спасението, И ще призова името Господно;

I will lift up the cup of salvation and deliverance and call on the name of the Lord.

14 ( 5)Ще изпълня обреците си Господу, Да, пред всичките Му люде.

I will pay my vows to the Lord, yes, in the presence of all His people.

15 ( 6)Скъпоценна е пред Господа Смъртта на светиите Му.

Precious (important and no light matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones).

16 ( 7)Ах! Господи, наистина аз съм Твой слуга; Твой слуга съм, син на Твоята слугиня; Ти си развързал връзките ми.

O Lord, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid; You have loosed my bonds.

17 ( 8)На Тебе ще принеса жертва на хваление, И името Господно ще призова.

I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving and will call on the name of the Lord.

18 ( 9) Ще изпълня облаците си Господу, Да! пред всичките Негови люде,

I will pay my vows to the Lord, yes, in the presence of all His people,

19 ( 10) В дворовете на дома Господен, Всред тебе, Ерусалиме. Алилуя.

In the courts of the Lord’s house—in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
