2 F rom the end of the earth will I cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and fainting; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

(61: 3) Du bout de la terre je crie à toi, le coeur abattu; Conduis-moi sur le rocher que je ne puis atteindre!

3 F or You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the adversary.

(61: 4) Car tu es pour moi un refuge, Une tour forte, en face de l'ennemi.

4 I will dwell in Your tabernacle forever; let me find refuge and trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah!

(61: 5) Je voudrais séjourner éternellement dans ta tente, Me réfugier à l'abri de tes ailes. -Pause.

5 F or You, O God, have heard my vows; You have given me the heritage of those who fear, revere, and honor Your name.

(61: 6) Car toi, ô Dieu! tu exauces mes voeux, Tu me donnes l'héritage de ceux qui craignent ton nom.

6 M ay You prolong the King’s life, and may His years be to the last generation.

(61: 7) Ajoute des jours aux jours du roi; Que ses années se prolongent à jamais!

7 M ay He sit enthroned forever before God; O ordain that loving-kindness and faithfulness may watch over Him!

(61: 8) Qu'il reste sur le trône éternellement devant Dieu! Fais que ta bonté et ta fidélité veillent sur lui!

8 S o will I sing praise to Your name forever, paying my vows day by day.

(61: 9) Alors je chanterai sans cesse ton nom, En accomplissant chaque jour mes voeux.
