And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begat Enosh:

7 S et, dopo aver generato Enos, visse ottocentosette anni, e generò figli e figlie.

and Seth lived after he begat Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

8 T utto il tempo che Set visse fu di novecentododici anni; poi morì.

and all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

9 E nos visse novant’anni e generò Chenan.

And Enosh lived ninety years, and begat Kenan.

10 E nos, dopo aver generato Chenan, visse ottocentoquindici anni e generò figli e figlie.

and Enosh lived after he begat Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Kenan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalalel:

and Kenan lived after he begat Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

And Mahalalel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

and all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

18 E Iared visse centosessantadue anni, e generò Enoc.

And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begat Enoch:

19 I ared, dopo aver generato Enoc, visse ottocento anni e generò figli e figlie;

and Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

21 E noc visse sessantacinque anni e generò Metusela.

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22 E noc, dopo aver generato Metusela, camminò con Dio trecento anni e generò figli e figlie.

and Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23 T utto il tempo che Enoc visse fu di trecentosessantacinque anni.

and all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 E noc camminò con Dio; poi scomparve, perché Dio lo prese.

and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 M etusela visse centottantasette anni e generò Lamec.

And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

26 E Metusela, dopo aver generato Lamec, visse settecentottantadue anni e generò figli e figlie.

and Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters.

27 T utto il tempo che Metusela visse fu di novecentosessantanove anni; poi morì.

And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

28 L amec visse centottantadue anni e generò un figlio,

And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

29 c he chiamò Noè, dicendo: «Questo ci consolerà della nostra opera e della fatica delle nostre mani a causa del suolo che il Signore ha maledetto».

and he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh because of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed.

30 L amec, dopo aver generato Noè, visse cinquecentonovantacinque anni e generò figli e figlie.

And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

32 N oè, all’età di cinquecento anni, generò Sem, Cam e Iafet.

And Noah was five hundred years old: And Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
