1 A lleluia. Lodate Dio nel suo santuario, lodatelo nella distesa dove risplende la sua potenza.

Praise ye Jehovah. Praise God in his sanctuary: Praise him in the firmament of his power.

2 L odatelo per le sue gesta, lodatelo secondo la sua somma grandezza.

Praise him for his mighty acts: Praise him according to his excellent greatness.

3 L odatelo con il suono della tromba, lodatelo con il saltèrio e la cetra.

Praise him with trumpet sound: Praise him with psaltery and harp.

4 L odatelo con il timpano e le danze, lodatelo con gli strumenti a corda e con il flauto.

Praise him with timbrel and dance: Praise him with stringed instruments and pipe.

5 L odatelo con cembali risonanti, lodatelo con cembali squillanti.

Praise him with loud cymbals: Praise him with high sounding cymbals.

6 O gni creatura che respira lodi il Signore. Alleluia.

Let everything that hath breath praise Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah.
