This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 A i i krijoi mashkull dhe femër, i bekoi dhe u dha emrin njeri, ditën që u krijuan.

3 A dami jetoi njëqind e tridhjetë vjet dhe i lindi një djalë që i përngjiste, një lloj në shëmbëlltyrë të tij dhe e quajti Seth.

And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

4 M bas lindjes së Sethit, Adami jetoi tetëqind vjet dhe pati bij dhe bija.

and the days of Adam after he begat Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters.

5 K ështu Adami jetoi gjithsej nëntëqind e tridhjetë vjet; pastaj vdiq.

And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

6 S ethi jetoi njëqind e pesë vjet dhe i lindi Enoshi.

And Seth lived a hundred and five years, and begat Enosh:

7 P as lindjes së Enoshit, Sethi jetoi tetëqind e shtatë vjet dhe pati bij e bija të tjerë.

and Seth lived after he begat Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

8 K ështu tërë koha që Sethi jetoi qe nëntëqind e dymbëdhjetë vjet; pastaj vdiq.

and all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

9 E noshi jetoi nëntëdhjetë vjet dhe i lindi Kenani.

And Enosh lived ninety years, and begat Kenan.

10 M bas lindjes së Kenanit, Enoshi jetoi tetëqind e pesëmbëdhjetë vjet dhe pati bij e bija të tjerë.

and Enosh lived after he begat Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:

11 K ështu Enoshi jetoi gjithsej nëntëqind e pesë vjet; pastaj vdiq.

and all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

12 K enani jetoi shtatëdhjetë vjet dhe i lindi Mahalaleeli.

And Kenan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalalel:

13 M bas lindjes së Mahalaleelit, Kenani jetoi tetëqind e dyzet vjet dhe pati bij e bija të tjerë.

and Kenan lived after he begat Mahalalel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:

14 K ështu Kenani jetoi gjithsej nëntëqind e dhjetë vjet; pastaj vdiq.

and all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

15 M ahalaleeli jetoi gjashtëdhjetë e pesë vjet dhe i lindi Jaredi.

And Mahalalel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:

16 M bas lindjes së Jaredit, Mahalaleeli jetoi tetëqind e tridhjetë vjet dhe pati bij e bija të tjerë.

And Mahalalel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:

17 K ështu Mahalaleeli jetoi gjithsej tetëqind e nëntëdhjetë e pesë vjet; pastaj vdiq.

and all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

18 J aredi jetoi njëqind e gjashtëdhjetë e dy vjet dhe i lindi Enoku.

And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begat Enoch:

19 M bas lindjes së Enokut, Jaredi jetoi tetëqind vjet dhe pati bij dhe bija të tjerë.

and Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

20 K ështu Jaredi jetoi gjithsej nëntëqind e gjashtëdhjetë e dy vjet; pastaj vdiq.

And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

21 E noku jetoi gjashtëdhjetë e pesë vjet dhe i lindi Methuselahu.

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22 M bas lindjes të Methuselahut, Enoku eci me Perëndinë treqind vjet dhe pati bij e bija të tjerë.

and Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23 K ështu Enoku jetoi gjithsej treqind e gjashtëdhjetë e pesë vjet.

and all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 P ra Enoku eci me Perëndinë, por nuk u gjend më, sepse Perëndia e mori me vete.

and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 M etuselahu jetoi njëqind e tetëdhjetë e shtatë vjet dhe i lindi Lameku.

And Methuselah lived a hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:

26 M bas lindjes së Lamekut, Metuselahu jetoi shtatëqind e tetëdhjetë e dy vjet dhe i lindën bij e bija.

and Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters.

27 K ështu Metuselahu jetoi gjithsej nëntëqind e gjashtëdhjetë e nëntë vjet; pastaj ai vdiq.

And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

28 L ameku jetoi njëqind e tetëdhjetë e dy vjet dhe i lindi një bir;

And Lamech lived a hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:

29 d he i vuri emrin Noe, duke thënë: "Ky do të na ngushëllojë për punën tonë dhe për mundin e duarve tona, për shkak të tokës që Zoti e ka mallkuar".

and he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, which cometh because of the ground which Jehovah hath cursed.

30 P asi solli në këtë botë Noeun, Lameku jetoi pesëqind e nëntëdhjetë e pesë vjet dhe i lindën bij e bija të tjerë.

And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:

31 K ështu Lameku jetoi gjithsej shtatëqind e shtatëdhjetë e shtatë vjet, pastaj ai vdiq.

And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

32 N oeut, në moshën pesëqind vjeç, i lindi Semi, Kami dhe Jafeti.

And Noah was five hundred years old: And Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
