1 И з глубин взываю я к Тебе, Господи.

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.

2 В ладыка, услышь мой голос, будь внимателен к моим молениям.

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 Е сли бы Ты, Господи, вел счет беззакониям, о Владыка, кто бы устоял?

If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4 Н о у Тебя есть прощение; пусть боятся Тебя.

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5 Н а Господа я надеюсь, надеется душа моя, и на слово Его уповаю.

I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6 Д уша моя ждет Владыку более, чем охранники – утра, да, более, чем охранники – утра.

My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

7 Д а уповает Израиль на Господа, потому что у Господа – милость и великое избавление – у Него.

Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

8 О н избавит Израиль от всех его беззаконий.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
