1 O Lord, I have cried to You out of the deep places.
Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.
2 L ord, hear my voice! Let Your ears hear the voice of my prayers.
Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3 I f you, Lord, should write down our sins, O Lord, who could stand?
If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4 B ut You are the One Who forgives, so You are honored with fear.
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5 I wait for the Lord. My soul waits and I hope in His Word.
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6 M y soul waits for the Lord more than one who watches for the morning; yes, more than one who watches for the morning.
My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7 O Israel, hope in the Lord! For there is loving-kindness with the Lord. With Him we are saved for sure.
Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8 A nd He will save Israel from all their sins.
And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
