1 З акончив говорить это, Иисус покинул Галилею и отправился по восточному берегу Иордана в Иудею.

And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

2 З а Ним последовало множество людей, и Он исцелил их там.

And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

3 Н екоторые из фарисеев подошли к Иисусу и, искушая Его, спросили: – По любой ли причине мужчине разрешается разводиться со своей женой?

The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

4 – Разве вы не читали, – ответил Иисус, – что в начале Создатель сотворил их мужчиной и женщиной

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

5 и сказал: «Поэтому оставит человек отца и мать и соединится со своей женой, и двое станут одной плотью»?

And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

6 Т ак что их уже не двое, они – одна плоть. Итак, что Бог соединил, то человек не должен разделять.

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

7 О ни сказали Ему: – Почему же тогда Моисей велел давать жене разводное письмо и отпускать ее?

They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

8 – Моисей разрешил вам разводиться с женами из-за жестокости ваших сердец, – ответил им Иисус. – Но вначале так не было.

He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

9 Г оворю вам, что каждый, кто разводится со своей женой, кроме как по причине ее измены, и женится на другой, тот нарушает супружескую верность.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

10 У ченики сказали Иисусу: – Если обязательства мужа к жене так строги, то лучше вообще не жениться.

His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

11 И исус ответил: – Не все могут принять Мои слова, а лишь те, кому это дано.

But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

12 Н екоторые родились скопцами, других такими сделали люди, а третьи отказались от брака ради Небесного Царства. Пусть те, кому это дано, поступают так. Иисус благословляет детей (Мк. 10: 13-16; Лк. 18: 15-17)

For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

13 Т огда к Иисусу принесли детей, чтобы Он возложил на них руки и помолился. Ученики же не подпускали к Нему этих людей.

Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

14 Н о Иисус сказал: – Пусть дети приходят ко Мне, не запрещайте им, потому что Небесное Царство состоит из таких, как они.

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

15 И , возложив на детей руки, Иисус ушел оттуда. Богач и Иисус (Мк. 10: 17-31; Лк. 18: 18-30)

And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

16 К Нему подошел человек и спросил: – Учитель, что я должен сделать благого, чтобы получить вечную жизнь?

And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 – Зачем ты спрашиваешь Меня о благом? – сказал Иисус. – Благ только один Бог. Но если ты хочешь войти в вечную жизнь, то соблюдай заповеди.

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 – Какие? – спросил тот. Иисус ответил: – «Не убивай», «не нарушай супружескую верность», «не кради», «не лжесвидетельствуй»,

He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19 « почитай отца и мать» и «люби ближнего твоего, как самого себя».

Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 – Все это я соблюдаю, – ответил молодой человек, – чего еще мне недостает?

The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 И исус ответил: – Если хочешь быть совершенным, то пойди, продай то, что у тебя есть, и раздай деньги бедным, и тогда у тебя будет сокровище на небесах. Потом приходи и следуй за Мной.

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22 К огда молодой человек это услышал, то отошел опечаленный, потому что он был очень богат.

But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

23 Т огда Иисус сказал своим ученикам: – Говорю вам истину: трудно будет богатому войти в Небесное Царство.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 Т акже говорю вам: легче верблюду пройти сквозь игольное ушко, чем богатому войти в Царство Божье.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25 К огда ученики это услышали, они сильно удивились: – Кто же тогда вообще может быть спасен?

When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

26 И исус посмотрел на них и сказал: – Человеку это невозможно, но Богу все возможно.

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

27 П етр сказал Ему: – Вот, мы все оставили и пошли за Тобой. Что же нам будет?

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28 Н а это Иисус ответил им: – Говорю вам истину: когда весь мир обновится, и Сын Человеческий сядет на престоле Своей славы, тогда и вы, последовавшие за Мной, тоже сядете на двенадцати престолах править двенадцатью родами Израиля.

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

29 И всякий, кто оставил дома или братьев, или сестер, или отца, или мать, или детей, или земли ради Меня, получит во сто крат больше и станет наследником вечной жизни.

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

30 О днако многие из тех, кто в этом мире был возвышен, будут унижены, а многие униженные будут возвышены.

But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
