1 Б лагодарите Господа, призывайте Его Имя; возвещайте среди народов о Его делах.

Give ye thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; make known his acts among the peoples.

2 В оспойте Ему, пойте песни Ему, рассказывайте о всех Его чудесах.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; meditate upon all his wondrous works.

3 Х валитесь Его святым Именем; пусть веселятся сердца ищущих Господа.

Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.

4 И щите Господа и силу Его: ищите лица Его всегда.

Seek Jehovah and his strength, seek his face continually;

5 П омните чудеса, которые Он сотворил, Его знамения и суды Его уст.

Remember his wondrous works which he hath done, his miracles and the judgments of his mouth:

6 О потомки Авраама, Его слуги, о сыновья Иакова, избранные Его.

Ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.

7 О н – Господь, наш Бог, суды Его по всей земле.

He, Jehovah, is our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

8 О н помнит Свой завет вечно, слово, данное Им для тысяч поколений, –

He is ever mindful of his covenant,—the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,—

9 з авет, что Он заключил с Авраамом, и клятву Свою Исааку.

Which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

10 У твердил Он это Иакову в Закон и Израилю вечным заветом,

And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,

11 с казав: «Я отдам тебе ханаанскую землю в удел твоего наследия».

Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

12 К огда они были малочисленны и незначительны и были чужеземцами на этой земле,

When they were a few men in number, of small account, and strangers in it.

13 т о скитались от народа к народу и из царства в царство.

And they went from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.

14 О н никому не давал их притеснять и укорял за них царей:

He suffered no man to oppress them, and reproved kings for their sakes,

15 « Не трогайте помазанников Моих и пророкам Моим не делайте зла».

Touch not mine anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.

16 О н послал голод на землю, сломил хлебный стебель.

And he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole staff of bread.

17 О н послал перед ними человека, в рабство был продан Иосиф.

He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a bondman.

18 С теснили оковами его ноги, надели на шею железное ярмо,

They afflicted his feet with fetters; his soul came into irons;

19 п ока не исполнилось слово Господне, пока слово Господне не доказало его правоту.

Until the time when what he said came about: the word of Jehovah tried him.

20 Ц арь приказал, и развязали его, владыка народов освободил его.

The king sent and loosed him—the ruler of peoples—and let him go free.

21 О н сделал его господином над своим домом и правителем над всем своим владением,

He made him lord of his house, and ruler over all his possessions:

22 ч тобы он наставлял его приближенных, как хотел, и старейшин его учил мудрости.

To bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom.

23 Т огда пришел Израиль в Египет, поселился Иаков в земле Хама.

And Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

24 И умножил Бог Свой народ и сделал его сильнее его врагов.

And he made his people exceeding fruitful, and made them mightier than their oppressors.

25 В озбудил в сердцах врагов ненависть к Своему народу и хитрость против Его рабов.

He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.

26 О н послал Моисея, Своего слугу, и Аарона, которого избрал.

He sent Moses his servant, Aaron whom he had chosen:

27 О ни показали среди них Его чудеса и Его знамения – в земле Хама.

They set his signs among them, and miracles in the land of Ham.

28 О н послал тьму, и стало темно, и они не воспротивились Его слову.

He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.

29 О братил воды их в кровь и погубил в них рыбу.

He turned their waters into blood, and caused their fish to die.

30 З емля их закишела множеством лягушек, которые были даже в покоях царей.

Their land swarmed with frogs,—in the chambers of their kings.

31 О н произнес слово, налетели тучи мух, комары заполнили все их земли

He spoke, and there came dog-flies, gnats in all their borders.

32 О н послал на них град вместо дождя и пылающий огонь – на их землю.

He gave them hail for rain, flaming fire in their land;

33 П обил виноград и инжир, поломал деревья в их земле.

And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees of their borders.

34 С казал, и пришла саранча, целые тучи без числа,

He spoke, and the locust came, and the cankerworm, even without number;

35 и съели всю траву в их земле и плоды на их полях.

And they devoured every herb in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.

36 З атем Он поразил всех первенцев в их земле – первые плоды их мужской силы.

And he smote every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigour.

37 О н вывел Израиль с серебром и золотом, и не было ни одного среди родов, кто бы споткнулся.

And he brought them forth with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble among their tribes.

38 Е гипет обрадовался их уходу, потому что страх перед ними напал на него.

Egypt rejoiced at their departure; for the fear of them had fallen upon them.

39 Б ог простер облако, чтобы укрыть их, и огонь, чтобы светить ночью.

He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.

40 Н арод попросил, и Он послал перепелов, и насытил людей хлебом с небес.

They asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

41 Р ассек скалу, и полились воды, рекой потекли в пустыне.

He opened the rock, and waters gushed forth; they ran in the dry places a river.

42 В едь Он вспомнил Свое святое слово к Аврааму, Своему слуге.

For he remembered his holy word, Abraham his servant;

43 О н вывел Свой народ в радости, избранных Своих в веселии.

And he brought forth his people with gladness, his chosen with rejoicing;

44 Д ал им земли народов, и они унаследовали то, над чем трудились другие,

And he gave them the lands of the nations, and they took possession of the labour of the peoples:

45 ч тобы соблюдали Его установления и хранили Его законы. Аллилуйя!

That they might keep his statutes, and observe his laws. Hallelujah!
