1 Г осподь сказал Моисею: – Пойди к фараону и скажи ему: «Так говорит Господь: Отпусти Мой народ поклониться Мне.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith Jehovah: Let my people go, that they may serve me.

2 Е сли ты откажешься, Я наведу на всю твою страну лягушек.

And if thou refuse to let go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs.

3 Н ил будет кишеть лягушками. Они вылезут из реки и придут в твой дворец, в спальню, на постель, в дома твоих приближенных и народа, в твои печи и в квашни.

And the river shall swarm with frogs, and they shall go up and come into thy house, and into thy bedroom, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy bondmen, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading-troughs.

4 Л ягушки будут прыгать на тебя, на твой народ и на твоих приближенных».

And the frogs shall come up both upon thee and upon thy people, and upon all thy bondmen.

5 Г осподь сказал Моисею: – Скажи Аарону: «Занеси руку с посохом над реками, каналами и прудами и наведи лягушек на египетскую землю».

And Jehovah said to Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy hand with thy staff over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.

6 А арон занес руку с посохом над водами Египта, и вылезли лягушки и покрыли всю землю.

And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

7 Н о чародеи с помощью колдовства сделали то же самое. Они тоже навели лягушек на Египет.

And the scribes did so with their sorceries, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt.

8 Ф араон позвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал: – Помолитесь Господу, чтобы Он избавил от лягушек меня и мой народ, и я отпущу народ принести жертву Господу.

And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat Jehovah, that he may take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to Jehovah.

9 М оисей сказал фараону: – Я предоставляю тебе честь выбрать, когда мне помолиться за тебя, за твоих приближенных и народ. После этого лягушки уйдут от тебя и из твоих дворцов и останутся только в Ниле.

And Moses said to Pharaoh, Glory over me, for what time shall I intreat for thee, and for thy bondmen, and for thy people, to cut off the frogs from thee and from thy houses; they shall remain in the river only?

10 – Завтра, – сказал фараон. Моисей ответил: – Будет по-твоему для того, чтобы ты узнал: нет никого, подобного Господу, нашему Богу.

And he said, For to-morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word; that thou mayest know that there is none like Jehovah our God.

11 Л ягушки уйдут от тебя и из твоих дворцов, от твоих приближенных и народа. Они останутся только в Ниле.

And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy bondmen, and from thy people: they shall remain in the river only.

12 М оисей и Аарон ушли от фараона, и Моисей попросил Господа уничтожить всех лягушек, которых Он навел на фараона.

And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh; and Moses cried to Jehovah because of the frogs that he had brought against Pharaoh.

13 Г осподь исполнил просьбу Моисея. Лягушки вымерли в домах, во дворах и на полях.

And Jehovah did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the courts, and out of the fields.

14 И х собирали в кучи, и земля начала испускать зловоние.

And they gathered them in heaps; and the land stank.

15 Н о когда фараон увидел, что пришло облегчение, его сердце исполнилось упрямством, и он опять не послушал Моисея и Аарона, как и говорил Господь. Третье наказание: комары

And Pharaoh saw that there was respite; and he hardened his heart, and hearkened not to them, as Jehovah had said.

16 Г осподь сказал Моисею: – Скажи Аарону: «Подними посох и ударь по пыли на земле: по всему Египту пыль превратится в комаров».

And Jehovah said to Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy staff, and smite the dust of the earth, and it shall become gnats throughout the land of Egypt.

17 О ни сделали так. Аарон поднял руку с посохом, ударил по пыли, и на людей и скот налетели комары. Пыль по всему Египту превратилась в комаров.

And they did so; and Aaron stretched out his hand with his staff, and smote the dust of the earth, and there arose gnats on man and on beast: all the dust of the land became gnats throughout the land of Egypt.

18 Ч ародеи попытались с помощью колдовства навести комаров, но не смогли. Комары облепляли людей и скотину.

And the scribes did so with their sorceries, to bring forth gnats; but they could not. And the gnats were on man and on beast.

19 И тогда чародеи сказали фараону: – Это сделал Бог. Но сердце фараона оставалось упрямым. Он не послушал их, как и говорил Господь. Четвертое наказание: мухи

Then the scribes said to Pharaoh, This is the finger of God! But Pharaoh's heart was stubborn, and he hearkened not to them, as Jehovah had said.

20 Г осподь сказал Моисею: – Поднимись завтра рано утром, встань перед фараоном, когда он пойдет к реке, и скажи ему: «Так говорит Господь: Отпусти Мой народ поклониться Мне.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh—behold, he will go out to the water—and say to him, Thus saith Jehovah, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

21 Е сли не отпустишь, Я пошлю на тебя, на твоих приближенных, на твой народ и в твои дворцы рои мух. Дома египтян наполнятся мухами и вся земля будет покрыта ими.

For, if thou do not let my people go, behold, I will send dog-flies upon thee, and upon thy bondmen, and upon thy people, and into thy houses; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of dog-flies, and also the ground on which they are.

22 Н о Я сделаю так, что в земле Гошен, где живет Мой народ, не будет мух, чтобы ты знал – Я, Господь, пребываю в той земле.

And I will distinguish in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no dog-flies shall be there; that thou mayest know that I Jehovah am in the midst of the land.

23 Я сделаю различие между Моим и твоим народом. Это знамение будет завтра».

And I will put a separation between my people and thy people; to-morrow shall this sign be.

24 Г осподь так и сделал. Густые рои мух налетели во дворец фараона и в дома его приближенных. Из-за мух погибала вся египетская земля.

And Jehovah did so; and there came dog-flies in a multitude into the house of Pharaoh, and the houses of his bondmen; and throughout the land of Egypt, the land was corrupted by the dog-flies.

25 Ф араон позвал Моисея и Аарона и сказал: – Идите, принесите жертву вашему Богу в этой стране.

And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron, and said, Go, sacrifice to your God in the land.

26 Н о Моисей сказал: – Так делать нельзя. То, что мы приносим в жертву Господу, нашему Богу, для египтян – мерзость. Если мы станем приносить жертву, которой они гнушаются, они забьют нас камнями.

And Moses said, It is not proper to do so; for we should sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to Jehovah our God: lo, if we sacrificed the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, would they not stone us?

27 Н ет, чтобы принести жертву Господу, нашему Богу, как Он велел, нам нужно удалиться на три дня в пустыню.

We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Jehovah our God, as he shall command us.

28 Ф араон сказал: – Я отпущу вас принести жертву Господу, вашему Богу, в пустыню, но только не уходите далеко. Помолитесь и обо мне.

And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that you may sacrifice to Jehovah your God in the wilderness; only, go not very far away: intreat for me!

29 М оисей ответил: – Как только я уйду от тебя, я помолюсь Господу, и завтра мухи оставят тебя, твоих приближенных и народ. Но и ты больше не обманывай, не отпуская народ принести жертву Господу.

And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and will intreat Jehovah; and the dog-flies will depart from Pharaoh, from his bondmen, and from his people, to-morrow; only let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to Jehovah.

30 М оисей ушел от фараона и помолился Господу.

And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and intreated Jehovah.

31 Г осподь сделал то, что просил Моисей: избавил фараона, его приближенных и народ от мух. Ни одной мухи не осталось.

And Jehovah did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the dog-flies from Pharaoh, from his bondmen, and from his people; there remained not one.

32 Н о и на этот раз сердце фараона осталось упрямым, и он не отпустил народ.

And Pharaoh hardened his heart this time also, and would not let the people go.
