1 Г осподь – Пастырь мой; я ни в чем не буду нуждаться.

Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 О н покоит меня на зеленых пастбищах и водит меня к тихим водам.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside still waters.

3 О н душу мою оживляет и ведет меня по путям праведности ради Имени Своего.

He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 П усть пойду в темноте долины смерти, не устрашусь я зла, потому что Ты со мной; Твой жезл и Твой посох – они успокаивают меня.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

5 Т ы приготовил мне пир на виду у моих врагов, умастил мне голову маслом, и чаша моя полна.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Т ак, благо и милость да будут со мною все дни моей жизни, и пребуду я в доме Господнем многие дни.

Surely, goodness and loving-kindness shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of Jehovah for the length of the days.
