1 В от имена тех, кто пришел к Давиду в город Циклаг, когда он укрывался от Саула, сына Киша. (Они были среди воинов, которые помогали ему в сражениях.;

Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he kept still close because of Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men who helped him in the conflict;

2 У них были луки, и они могли метать камни и стрелять из лука и правой, и левой рукой. Они были родственниками Саула из рода Вениамина).

armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left with stones and with arrows on the bow; of Saul's brethren of Benjamin:

3 И х вождь Ахиезер, и за ним Иоаш – сыновья Шемаи из Гивы; Иезиел и Пелет – сыновья Азмавета; Бераха и Иегу из Анатота;

the chief Ahiezer, and Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Anathothite,

4 И шмая гаваонитянин – воин из числа тех тридцати и вождь над ними; Иеремия, Иахазиил, Иоханан и Иозавад из Гедеры;

and Jishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite.

5 Е лузай, Иеримот, Веалия, Шемария и харуфитянин Шефатия;

Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;

6 к орахиты Элкана, Ишшия, Азариил, Иоезер и Иашовеам;

Elkanah, and Jishijah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korahites;

7 И оела и Зевадия – сыновья Иерохама из Гедора. Сторонники Давида из рода Гада

and Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.

8 П ерешли к Давиду в его укрепление в пустыне и некоторые из гадитян. Это были отважные и опытные воины, умеющие обращаться со щитом и копьем. Лица их были, как у львов и быстры они были, как серны в горах.

And of the Gadites, there separated themselves to David in the stronghold in the wilderness mighty men of valour, men fit for the service of war, armed with shield and spear; whose faces were the faces of lions, and who were swift as the gazelles upon the mountains:

9 В ождем был Эзер, вторым после него Авдий, третьим Елиав,

Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,

10 М ишманна – четвертым, Иеремия пятым,

Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,

11 А ттай шестым, Елиел седьмым,

Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,

12 И оханан восьмым, Елзавад девятым,

Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,

13 И еремия десятым, и Махбанай одиннадцатым.

Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.

14 Э ти гадитяне были военачальниками: наименьший стоял над сотней, а наибольший над тысячей.

These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over a hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.

15 Э то они переправились через реку Иордан в первый месяц, когда она выходит из берегов, и обратили в бегство всех, кто жил в долинах к востоку и к западу. Сторонники Давида из родов Вениамина и Иуды

These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it overflows all its banks, and they put to flight all of the valleys, toward the east and toward the west.

16 Д ругие вениамитяне и некоторые из рода Иуды также пришли в укрепление к Давиду.

And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the stronghold to David.

17 Д авид вышел навстречу и сказал им: – Если вы пришли с миром, чтобы помогать мне, я готов объединиться с вами. Но если вы пришли, чтобы предать меня моим врагам, когда мои руки чисты от насилия, то пусть Бог наших отцов увидит и рассудит.

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them, If ye come peaceably to me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers see and rebuke.

18 Т огда на Амасая, вождя тридцати, сошел Дух и он сказал: – Мы твои, о Давид! Мы с тобою, о сын Иессея! Успеха, успеха тебе, и успеха твоим помощникам, ведь тебе помогает твой Бог. Давид принял их и поставил их во главе своего войска. Сторонники Давида из рода Манассии

And the Spirit came upon Amasai, the chief of the captains, Thine, David, And with thee, thou son of Jesse: Peace, peace be to thee! And peace be to thy helpers! For thy God helps thee. And David received them, and made them chiefs of bands.

19 К огда Давид пошел с филистимлянами воевать против Саула, к нему перешли некоторые из рода Манассии. (Давид и его люди не помогали филистимлянам, потому что их правители, посоветовавшись, отослали его прочь. Они сказали: «Если он перейдет к своему господину Саулу, то это нам будет стоить головы».)

And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not; for the lords of the Philistines upon deliberation sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul at the peril of our heads.

20 К огда Давид возвращался в Циклаг, из рода Манассии к нему перешли: Аднах, Иозавад, Иедиаел, Михаил, Иозавад, Елигу и Циллетай – тысяченачальники манассиян.

As he went away to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh: Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.

21 О ни помогали Давиду отражать набеги грабителей, потому что все они были отважными воинами и полководцами в его войске.

And they helped David in his expeditions; for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.

22 Д ень за днем люди шли на помощь Давиду, пока войско его не стало так велико, как войско Бога. Войско Давида в Хевроне

For day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great camp, like the camp of God.

23 В от количество воинов, вооруженных для битвы, которые пришли к Давиду в Хеврон, чтобы по слову Господа передать ему царство Саула:

And this is the number of the men equipped for military service, who came to David to Hebron, to transfer the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of Jehovah.

24 л юдей рода Иуды, которые носили щит и копье, – 6800 вооруженных для битвы;

The children of Judah that bore shield and spear were six thousand eight hundred, equipped for military service.

25 и з рода Симеона, воинов, готовых к битве, – 7100;

Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for war, seven thousand one hundred.

26 и з рода Левия – 4600,

Of the children of Levi four thousand six hundred.

27 в месте с Иодаем, вождем из дома Аарона, который привел с собой 3700 человек,

And Jehoiada the prince of Aaron, and with him were three thousand seven hundred;

28 и Цадоком, отважным молодым воином, с 22 военачальниками из его клана;

and Zadok, a valiant young man, and his father's house two and twenty chief men.

29 и з рода Вениамина – родственников Саула – 3000 человек (большинство из них прежде хранило верность дому Саула);

And of the children of Benjamin, the brethren of Saul, three thousand; but hitherto the greater part of them had adhered to the house of Saul.

30 и з рода Ефрема, отважных воинов, прославленных в своих кланах, – 20 800;

And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand eight hundred, mighty men of valour, men of name in their fathers' houses.

31 и з половины рода Манассии – 18 000 человек, которые были названы поименно, чтобы прийти и сделать Давида царем;

And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, who were expressed by name, to come and make David king.

32 и з рода Иссахара, людей разумных, которые знали, что и когда надлежало делать Израилю, – 200 вождей со всеми своими родственниками, следующими по их слову.

And of the children of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their bidding.

33 И з рода Завулона опытных воинов, вооруженных всякого вида оружием, которые единодушно пришли на помощь Давиду, – 50 000;

Of Zebulun, such as went forth in the host, armed for war with all weapons of war, fifty thousand, keeping rank without double heart.

34 и з рода Неффалима – 1000 военачальников и с ними 37 000 человек, носящих щит и копье;

And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them thirty-seven thousand with shield and spear.

35 и з рода Дана, готовых к битве, – 28 600;

And of the Danites armed for war twenty-eight thousand six hundred.

36 и з рода Асира, опытных воинов, готовых к битве, – 40 000.

And of Asher such as went forth in the host, to set themselves in battle array, forty thousand.

37 А из родов Рувима, Гада и половины рода Манассии из-за Иордана – 120 000 человек, вооруженных всякого вида оружием.

And from the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of weapons of war for battle, a hundred and twenty thousand.

38 В се эти воины боевым строем пришли в Хеврон исполненные воли сделать Давида царем над всем Израилем. И все остальные израильтяне единодушно решили сделать Давида царем.

All of them men of war, keeping rank in battle array, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.

39 О ни пробыли там у Давида три дня, ели и пили, потому что их семьи снабдили их запасами.

And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking; for their brethren had prepared for them;

40 А также их соседи, даже такие, как роды Иссахара, Завулона и Неффалима, приходили с ослами, верблюдами, мулами и волами, нагруженными едой. Еды – муки, инжира, изюма, вина, масла, мяса крупного и мелкого скота – было в изобилии, потому что в Израиле царила радость.

and those too that were near them, as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought food on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen; provisions of meal, fig-cakes and raisin-cakes, and wine and oil, and oxen and sheep, abundantly; for there was joy in Israel.
