1 В се встали и повели Иисуса к Пилату.

And the whole multitude of them, rising up, led him to Pilate.

2 Т ам они начали обвинять Его: – Мы установили, что Этот Человек совращает наш народ. Он запрещает платить дань кесарю и называет Себя Христом, Царем.

And they began to accuse him, saying, We have found this perverting our nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ, a king.

3 П илат спросил Иисуса: – Ты Царь иудеев? – Ты сам так говоришь, – ответил Иисус.

And Pilate demanded of him saying, Art thou the king of the Jews? And he answering him said, Thou sayest.

4 Т огда Пилат сказал первосвященникам и толпе: – У меня нет никаких оснований осудить Этого Человека.

And Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, I find no guilt in this man.

5 Н о они настаивали: – Он Своим учением возмущает народ по всей Иудее, начал в Галилее, а теперь пришел сюда. Иисус на допросе у Ирода

But they insisted, saying, He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judaea, beginning from Galilee even on to here.

6 – Этот Человек – галилеянин? – спросил, услышав это, Пилат.

But Pilate, having heard Galilee, demanded if the man were a Galilaean;

7 И узнав, что Иисус был из области, подвластной Ироду, который тоже был в это время в Иерусалиме, он послал Иисуса к нему.

and having learned that he was of Herod's jurisdiction, remitted him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem in those days.

8 И род, увидев Иисуса, очень обрадовался, потому что уже давно хотел Его увидеть. Он много слышал об Иисусе и надеялся, что Тот совершит для него какое-нибудь чудо.

And when Herod saw Jesus he greatly rejoiced, for he had been a long while desirous of seeing him, because of hearing many things concerning him, and he hoped to see some sign done by him;

9 О н задавал Ему много вопросов, но Иисус ничего не отвечал.

and he questioned him in many words, but he answered him nothing.

10 С тоявшие там первосвященники и учители Закона усиленно обвиняли Иисуса.

And the chief priests and the scribes stood and accused him violently.

11 И род же и его солдаты, посмеявшись и поиздевавшись над Иисусом, надели на Него красивую мантию и отослали обратно к Пилату.

And Herod with his troops having set him at nought and mocked him, having put a splendid robe upon him, sent him back to Pilate.

12 В этот день Ирод и Пилат стали друзьями, а прежде они враждовали. Пилат выносит приговор (Мат. 27: 15-26; Мк. 15: 6-15; Ин. 18: 39-19: 16)

And Pilate and Herod became friends with one another the same day, for they had been at enmity before between themselves.

13 П илат, созвав первосвященников, начальников и народ,

And Pilate, having called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

14 с казал им: – Вы привели ко мне Этого Человека и сказали, что Он подстрекает народ. Допросив Его в вашем присутствии, я не нахожу Его виновным в том, в чем вы Его обвиняете.

said to them, Ye have brought to me this man as turning away the people, and behold, I, having examined him before you, have found nothing criminal in this man as to the things of which ye accuse him;

15 И род тоже не нашел в Нем никакой вины и отослал Его обратно к нам. Как видите, Он не сделал ничего, достойного смерти.

nor Herod either, for I remitted you to him, and behold, nothing worthy of death is done by him.

16 П оэтому я прикажу бичевать Его, а затем отпущу, –

Having chastised him therefore, I will release him.

17 п отому что на праздник он должен был отпустить одного из заключенных.

( Now he was obliged to release one for them at the feast.)

18 Т огда все в один голос закричали: – Смерть Ему! Отпусти нам Варавву!

But they cried out in a mass saying, Away with this and release Barabbas to us;

19 ( Варавва был заключен в темницу за поднятый в городе мятеж и за убийство.)

who was one who, for a certain tumult which had taken place in the city, and murder, had been cast into prison.

20 П илат же хотел отпустить Иисуса и еще раз спросил их.

Pilate therefore, desirous to release Jesus, again addressed.

21 Н о они продолжали кричать: – Распни, распни Его!

But they cried out in reply saying, Crucify, crucify him.

22 П илат в третий раз спросил: – За что? Какое зло сделал Он? Я не нашел за Ним никакой вины, за которую Он мог бы быть приговорен к смерти. Я прикажу бичевать Его, а затем отпущу!

And he said the third time to them, What evil then has this done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will chastise him therefore and release him.

23 Н о они продолжали громко кричать и настаивать, чтобы Иисус был распят. В конце концов криками они добились своего.

But they were urgent with loud voices, begging that he might be crucified. And their voices prevailed.

24 П илат согласился выполнить их требование.

And Pilate adjudged that what they begged should take place.

25 О н освободил, как они и просили, того, кто находился в тюрьме за бунт и за убийство, а Иисуса отдал на их волю. Иисуса ведут на распятие (Мат. 27: 32; Мк. 15: 21; Ин. 19: 17)

And he released him who, for tumult and murder, had been cast into prison, whom they begged for, and Jesus he delivered up to their will.

26 К огда Иисуса повели на распятие, конвоиры схватили некоего Симона из Кирены, шедшего с поля, взвалили на него крест и заставили нести его за Иисусом.

And as they led him away, they laid hold on a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from the field, and put the cross upon him to bear it behind Jesus.

27 С реди множества людей, шедших за Иисусом, были и женщины, которые били себя в грудь и рыдали о Нем.

And a great multitude of the people, and of women who wailed and lamented him, followed him.

28 И исус повернулся к ним и сказал: – Дочери Иерусалима, не плачьте обо Мне, плачьте лучше о себе и о своих детях.

And Jesus turning round to them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep over me, but weep over yourselves and over your children;

29 Н аступает такое время, когда будут говорить: «Блаженны бесплодные, нерожавшие и не кормившие грудью!».

for behold, days are coming in which they will say, Blessed the barren, and wombs that have not borne, and breasts that have not given suck.

30 Т огда «люди скажут горам: "Падите на нас!" и холмам: "Покройте нас!"».

Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall upon us; and to the hills, Cover us:

31 В едь если с молодым и зеленым деревом делают такое, то что же будет с сухим? Иисуса пригвождают ко кресту (Мат. 27: 35-44; Мк. 15: 24-32; Ин. 19: 18-24)

for if these things are done in the green tree, what shall take place in the dry?

32 С Иисусом вели на казнь и двух преступников.

Now two others also, malefactors, were led with him to be put to death.

33 К огда они пришли на место, называемое Лобным, там распяли и Его, и преступников, одного по правую, а другого по левую сторону от Него.

And when they came to the place which is called Skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, the other on the left.

34 И исус говорил: – Отец, прости им, ведь они не знают, что делают. Солдаты разделили между собой одежду Иисуса, бросив жребий.

And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And, parting out his garments, they cast lots.

35 Н арод стоял и смотрел. Начальники же смеялись над Ним: – Спасал других! Пусть теперь спасет Самого Себя, если Он Божий Избранник – Христос!

And the people stood beholding, and the rulers also sneered, saying, He has saved others; let him save himself if this is the Christ, the chosen one of God.

36 С олдаты тоже насмехались над Ним. Они давали Иисусу кислое вино

And the soldiers also made game of him, coming up offering him vinegar,

37 и говорили: – Спаси Себя, если Ты Царь иудеев!

and saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

38 А над Иисусом на кресте была надпись: «ЭТО ЦАРЬ ИУДЕЕВ».

And there was also an inscription over him in Greek, and Roman, and Hebrew letters: This is the King of the Jews.

39 О дин из распятых преступников оскорблял Его, говоря: – Разве Ты не Христос? Спаси Себя и нас!

Now one of the malefactors who had been hanged spoke insultingly to him, saying, Art not thou the Christ? save thyself and us.

40 Д ругой же унимал его и говорил: – Побойся Бога! Ведь ты приговорен к тому же.

But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost thou too not fear God, thou that art under the same judgment?

41 М ы наказаны справедливо и получили по заслугам, а Этот Человек не сделал ничего плохого.

and we indeed justly, for we receive the just recompense of what we have done; but this has done nothing amiss.

42 И он сказал: – Иисус, вспомни меня, когда придешь в Свое Царство!

And he said to Jesus, Remember me, when thou comest in thy kingdom.

43 – Говорю тебе истину: сегодня ты будешь со Мной в раю, – ответил ему Иисус. Смерть Иисуса на кресте (Мат. 27: 45-56; Мк. 15: 33-41; Ин. 19: 28-30)

And Jesus said to him, Verily I say to thee, To-day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

44 Б ыло около шестого часа дня, и по всей земле стало темно, и это продолжалось до часа девятого.

And it was about sixth hour, and there came darkness over the whole land until ninth hour.

45 С олнце померкло, и завеса в храме разорвалась на две части.

And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple rent in the midst.

46 И исус громко крикнул: – Отец, в Твои руки Я отдаю Мой дух! Сказав это, Он испустил дух.

And Jesus, having cried with a loud voice, said, Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit. And having said this, he expired.

47 К огда сотник все это увидел, он прославил Бога и сказал: – Этот Человек действительно был праведником!

Now the centurion, seeing what took place, glorified God, saying, In very deed this man was just.

48 И все люди, собравшиеся посмотреть на казнь, увидев, что произошло, возвращались по домам, ударяя себя в грудь.

And all the crowds who had come together to that sight, having seen the things that took place, returned, beating breasts.

49 Н о все, кто знал Иисуса, включая и женщин, которые шли за Ним из Галилеи, стояли в отдалении, наблюдая за происходящим. Погребение Иисуса (Мат. 27: 57-61; Мк. 15: 42-47; Ин. 19: 38-42)

And all those who knew him stood afar off, the women also who had followed him from Galilee, beholding these things.

50 Т ам был добрый и праведный человек, которого звали Иосиф. Будучи членом Совета,

And behold, a man named Joseph, who was a councillor, a good man and a just

51 о н, однако, не был согласен с решением и делом иудейских вождей. Иосиф был уроженцем города Аримафеи в Иудее и ожидал Божьего Царства.

(this had not assented to their counsel and deed), of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews, who also waited, for the kingdom of God

52 Э тот человек пошел к Пилату и попросил тело Иисуса.

—he having gone to Pilate begged the body of Jesus;

53 О н снял тело, обернул его в льняное полотно и положил в высеченную в скале могильную пещеру, где еще никого до этого не хоронили.

and having taken it down, wrapped it in fine linen and placed him in a tomb hewn in the rock, where no one had ever been laid.

54 Э то была пятница – день приготовления к субботе, которая уже наступала.

And it was preparation day, and sabbath twilight was coming on.

55 З а Иосифом пошли женщины, пришедшие с Иисусом из Галилеи, они видели гробницу и то, как тело Иисуса было положено в нее.

And women, who had come along with him out of Galilee, having followed, saw the sepulchre and how his body was placed.

56 В ернувшись, они приготовили душистые мази и масла. Субботу они провели в покое, согласно заповеди.

And having returned they prepared aromatic spices and ointments, and remained quiet on the sabbath, according to the commandment.
