1 Б ожий ковчег принесли и поставили в шатре, который разбил для него Давид, и вознесли перед Богом всесожжения и жертвы примирения.

And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had spread for it; and they presented burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.

2 З акончив приносить всесожжения и жертвы примирения, он благословил народ во Имя Господа.

And when David had ended offering up the burnt-offerings and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Jehovah.

3 З атем он раздал каждому израильтянину и израильтянке по одной лепешке, а также инжир и изюм.

And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread and a measure and a raisin-cake.

4 О н поставил некоторых из левитов служить перед ковчегом Господа, чтобы они взывали, благодарили и воздавали хвалу Господу, Богу Израиля:

And he appointed certain of the Levites to do the service before the ark of Jehovah, and to celebrate, and to thank and praise Jehovah the God of Israel:

5 А саф был руководителем, Захария вторым после него, затем Иеил, Шемирамоф, Иехиил, Маттифия, Елиав, Ванея и Овид-Эдом с Иеилом. Они должны были играть на лирах и арфах, Асаф на тарелках,

Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of lutes and with harps; and Asaph sounding with cymbals;

6 а священники Ванея и Иахазиил постоянно трубить в трубы перед ковчегом Божьего завета. Хвалебная песнь Давида (Пс. 104: 1-15; 95: 1-13; 105: 1, 47-48)

and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

7 В тот день Давид впервые дал Асафу и его родственникам песню для прославления Господа:

Then on that day David delivered first to give thanks to Jehovah through Asaph and his brethren.

8 Б лагодарите Господа, призывайте Его Имя; возвещайте среди народов о Его делах.

Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known his acts among the peoples.

9 П ойте Ему, пойте Ему хвалу, говорите о всех Его чудесах.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him; Meditate upon all his wondrous works.

10 Х валитесь Его святым Именем, пусть веселятся сердца ищущих Господа.

Glory in his holy name: Let the heart of them rejoice that seek Jehovah.

11 И щите Господа и силу Его: ищите лица Его всегда.

Seek Jehovah and his strength, Seek his face continually;

12 П омните чудеса, которые Он сотворил, знамения Его и суды, что Он произнес.

Remember his wondrous works which he hath done; His miracles, and the judgments of his mouth:

13 О , потомки Израиля, слуги Его, о, сыновья Иакова, избранные Его.

Ye seed of Israel his servant, Ye sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.

14 О н – Господь, наш Бог; суды Его по всей земле.

He, Jehovah, is our God; His judgments are in all the earth.

15 П омните: вечен Его завет – слово, данное Им для тысяч поколений, –

Be ye ever mindful of his covenant, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,—

16 з авет, что Он заключил с Авраамом, и клятву Его Исааку.

Which he made with Abraham, And of his oath unto Isaac;

17 У твердил Он это Иакову в Закон и Израилю вечным заветом,

And he confirmed it unto Jacob for a statute, Unto Israel for an everlasting covenant,

18 с казав: «Я отдам тебе ханаанскую землю в удел твоего наследия».

Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance;

19 К огда были они малочисленны, и незначительны, и были чужеземцами на этой земле,

When ye were a few men in number, Of small account, and strangers in it.

20 к огда они странствовали из одной страны в другую и из одного царства к народу другому,

And they went from nation to nation, And from one kingdom to another people.

21 О н никому не давал их притеснять и укорял за них царей:

He suffered no man to oppress them, And reproved kings for their sakes,

22 « Не трогайте помазанников Моих и пророкам Моим не делайте зла».

Touch not mine anointed ones, And do my prophets no harm.

23 В оспойте Господу, вся земля, возвещайте о Его спасении каждый день.

Sing unto Jehovah, all the earth; Publish his salvation from day to day.

24 В озвещайте Его славу среди народов, чудеса Его – среди всех людей,

Declare his glory among the nations, His wondrous works among all peoples.

25 п отому что велик Господь и достоин беспредельной хвалы; Он внушает страх более всех богов.

For Jehovah is great, and exceedingly to be praised; And he is terrible above all gods.

26 В се боги народов – идолы, а Господь сотворил небеса.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols; But Jehovah made the heavens.

27 С лава и величие перед Ним, сила и радость на месте Его.

Majesty and splendour are before him; Strength and gladness in his place.

28 В оздайте Господу, народы, воздайте Ему славу и силу.

Give unto Jehovah, ye families of peoples, Give unto Jehovah glory and strength!

29 В оздайте Господу славу, присущую Его Имени. Несите дар, предстаньте пред Ним, склонитесь перед Господом в великолепии Его святости.

Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name! Bring an oblation, and come before him: Worship Jehovah in holy splendour.

30 Т репещи перед Ним, вся земля! Прочно мир утвержден – не поколеблется.

Tremble before him, all the earth: The world also is established, it shall not be moved.

31 П усть радуются небеса, пусть ликует земля, и пусть скажут среди народов: «Господь правит!»

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth!

32 П усть шумит море и все, что его наполняет, пусть ликует поле и все, что на нем,

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; Let the field exult, and all that is therein.

33 и да возликуют все деревья лесные, будут петь от радости перед Господом, ведь Он идет судить землю.

Then shall the trees of the forest sing out at the presence of Jehovah, For he cometh to judge the earth.

34 С лавьте Господа, потому что Он благ милость Его – навеки.

Give thanks unto Jehovah, for he is good; For his loving-kindness for ever.

35 В зывайте: «Спаси нас, Боже, Спаситель наш; собери нас, защити нас от народов, чтобы мы воздали благодарность Твоему святому Имени и хвалились Твоею славой».

And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks unto thy holy name, To triumph in thy praise.

36 П рославлен будь, Господь, Бог Израиля, от века до века! И весь народ сказал: «Аминь!» – и восславил Господа. Служение Господу в Иерусалиме и Гаваоне

Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, from eternity and to eternity! And all the people said, Amen! and praised Jehovah.

37 Д авид оставил Асафа и его родственников перед ковчегом Господнего завета, чтобы они служили там постоянно, по потребностям каждого дня.

And he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, Asaph and his brethren, to do the service before the ark continually, as every day's duty required;

38 Е ще он оставил Овид-Эдома и шестьдесят восемь его родственников, чтобы они служили вместе с ними. Овид-Эдом, сын Идутуна, и Хоса были служащими у ворот.

and Obed-Edom, and their brethren, sixty-eight; Obed-Edom also, the son of Jeduthun, and Hosah as doorkeepers.

39 Д авид оставил священника Цадока и его собратьев-священников перед скинией Господа на возвышенности в Гаваоне,

And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah in the high place that was at Gibeon,

40 ч тобы они постоянно приносили Господу всесожжения на жертвеннике для всесожжений, утром и вечером, так, как написано в Законе Господа, который Он дал Израилю.

to offer up burnt-offerings to Jehovah on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and according to all that is written in the law of Jehovah, which he commanded Israel;

41 С ними были Еман и Идутун с прочими избранными, которые были назначены поименно, чтобы славить Господа ведь «милость Его навеки».

and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, because his loving-kindness for ever;

42 Е ман и Идутун отвечали за игру на трубах и тарелках, а также на прочих музыкальных инструментах, когда пелись песни Богу. Сыновья Идутуна были поставлены у ворот.

and with them, Heman and Jeduthun, trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud; and the musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were at the gate.

43 К огда весь народ разошелся по домам, вернулся и Давид, чтобы благословить своих домашних.

And all the people departed every one to his house; and David returned to bless his household.
