6 W ill your companions make a banquet of him? Will they apportion him among the merchants?

¿Harán de él banquete los compañeros? ¿Lo repartirán entre los mercaderes?

7 C an you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears?

¿Cortarás tú con cuchillo su piel, O con arpón de pescadores su cabeza?

8 L ay your hand on him; Remember the battle— Never do it again!

Pon tu mano sobre él; Te acordarás de la batalla, y nunca más volverás.

9 I ndeed, any hope of overcoming him is false; Shall one not be overwhelmed at the sight of him?

He aquí que la esperanza acerca de él será burlada, Porque aun a su sola vista se desmayarán.

Nadie hay tan osado que lo despierte; ¿Quién, pues, podrá estar delante de mí?

En su cerviz está la fuerza, Y delante de él se esparce el desaliento.

23 T he folds of his flesh are joined together; They are firm on him and cannot be moved.

Las partes más flojas de su carne están endurecidas; Están en él firmes, y no se mueven.

24 H is heart is as hard as stone, Even as hard as the lower millstone.

Su corazón es firme como una piedra, Y fuerte como la muela de abajo.

25 W hen he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid; Because of his crashings they are beside themselves.

Estima como paja el hierro, Y el bronce como leño podrido.
