1 T hen Bildad the Shuhite answered,
Ano ra ko Pirirara Huhi; i mea ia,
2 “ Power and fear belong to God. He keeps peace in His high places.
Kei a ia te kingitanga me te wehi: ko ia hei hohou i te rongo i ona wahi tiketike.
3 I s there any number to His armies? Upon whom does His light not shine?
E taea ranei ana ope te tatau? ko wai hoki i kore te whitingia e tona marama?
4 H ow then can a man be right and good before God? How can he who is born of woman be clean?
A ma te aha ra te tangata ka whakatikaia mai ai e te Atua? Ma te aha ka ma ai te whanau a te wahine?
5 S ee, even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in His eyes.
Nana, ko te marama, kahore ona tiahotanga, kahore hoki nga whetu kia ma ki tana titiro:
6 H ow much less man, who is a bug, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
Kia iti rawa iho to te tangata, he kutukutu nei! to te tama a te tangata, he iro nei!
