1 T he fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They have done abominable deeds. There is no one who does good.

Dice el necio en su corazón: No hay Dios. Se han corrompido, hacen obras abominables; No hay quien haga el bien.

2 Y ahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who understood, who sought after God.

4 H ave all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and don’t call on Yahweh?

¿No comprenderán todos los que hacen iniquidad, Que devoran a mi pueblo como si comiesen pan, Y a Jehová no invocan?

5 T here they were in great fear, for God is in the generation of the righteous.

Allí temblarán de espanto; Porque Dios está con la generación de los justos.

6 Y ou frustrate the plan of the poor, because Yahweh is his refuge.

De los planes del desvalido hacéis burla vosotros. Pero Jehová es su esperanza.

7 O h that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When Yahweh restores the fortunes of his people, then Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

¡Oh, quién nos diese que de Sión saliera la salvación de Israel! Cuando Jehová haga volver a los cautivos de su pueblo, Se gozará Jacob, y se alegrará Israel.
