1 Y ahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Habló Jehová a Moisés, diciendo:

2 “ Moreover, you shall tell the children of Israel, ‘Anyone of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners in Israel, who gives any of his offspring to Molech; he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Dirás asimismo a los hijos de Israel: Cualquier varón de los hijos de Israel, o de los extranjeros que moran en Israel, que ofrezca alguno de sus hijos a Moloc, de seguro morirá; el pueblo de la tierra lo apedreará.

3 I also will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people because he has given of his offspring to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

Y yo pondré mi rostro contra el tal varón, y lo cortaré de entre su pueblo, por cuanto dio de sus hijos a Moloc, contaminando mi santuario y profanando mi santo nombre.

4 I f the people of the land all hide their eyes from that person, when he gives of his offspring to Molech, and don’t put him to death;

Si el pueblo de la tierra cierra sus ojos respecto de aquel varón que haya dado de sus hijos a Moloc, para no matarle,

5 t hen I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all who play the prostitute after him, to play the prostitute with Molech, from among their people.

entonces yo pondré mi rostro contra aquel varón y contra su familia, y le exterminaré de entre su pueblo, con todos los que fornicaron en pos de él prostituyéndose con Moloc.

6 “ ‘The person that turns to those who are mediums, and to the wizards, to play the prostitute after them, I will even set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people.

Y la persona que atienda a encantadores o adivinos, para prostituirse tras de ellos, yo pondré mi rostro contra la tal persona, y la cortaré de entre su pueblo.

7 “ ‘Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy; for I am Yahweh your God.

Santificaos, pues, y sed santos, porque yo Jehová soy vuestro Dios. Faltas contra la familia

8 Y ou shall keep my statutes, and do them. I am Yahweh who sanctifies you.

Y guardad mis estatutos, y ponedlos por obra. Yo Jehová que os santifico.

9 “ ‘For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

Todo hombre que maldiga a su padre o a su madre, de cierto morirá; a su padre o a su madre maldijo; su sangre será sobre él.

10 “ ‘The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Si un hombre comete adulterio con la mujer de su prójimo, el adúltero y la adúltera indefectiblemente serán muertos.

11 “ ‘The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Cualquiera que yazca con la mujer de su padre, la desnudez de su padre descubrió; ambos han de ser muertos; su sangre será sobre ellos.

12 “ ‘If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have committed a perversion; their blood shall be upon them.

Si alguno duerme con su nuera, ambos han de morir; cometieron grave perversión; su sangre será sobre ellos.

13 “ ‘If a man lies with a male, as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Si alguno se acuesta con varón como con mujer, abominación hicieron; ambos han de ser muertos; sobre ellos será su sangre.

14 “ ‘If a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burned with fire, both he and they; that there may be no wickedness among you.

El que tome mujer y a la madre de ella, comete vileza; quemarán con fuego a él y a ellas, para que no haya vileza entre vosotros.

15 “ ‘If a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death; and you shall kill the animal.

Cualquiera que tenga cópula con bestia, ha de ser muerto, y mataréis a la bestia.

16 “ ‘If a woman approaches any animal, and lies down with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

Y si una mujer se llega a algún animal para unirse con él, a la mujer y al animal matarás; morirán indefectiblemente; su sangre será sobre ellos.

17 “ ‘If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness; it is a shameful thing. They shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness. He shall bear his iniquity.

Si alguno toma a su hermana, hija de su padre o hija de su madre, y ve su desnudez, y ella ve la suya, es cosa execrable; por tanto serán muertos a ojos de los hijos de su pueblo; descubrió la desnudez de su hermana; su pecado llevará.

18 “ ‘If a man lies with a woman having her monthly period, and uncovers her nakedness; he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

Cualquiera que duerma con mujer menstruosa, y descubra su desnudez, la fuente de su flujo descubrió, y ella descubrió la fuente de su sangre; ambos serán cortados de entre su pueblo.

19 “ ‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, nor of your father’s sister; for he has made his close relative naked. They shall bear their iniquity.

La desnudez de la hermana de tu madre, o de la hermana de tu padre, no descubrirás; porque al descubrir la desnudez de su parienta, su iniquidad llevarán.

20 I f a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They shall bear their sin. They shall die childless.

Cualquiera que duerma con la mujer del hermano de su padre, la desnudez del hermano de su padre descubrió; su pecado llevarán; morirán sin hijos.

21 “ ‘If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an impurity. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They shall be childless.

Y el que tome la mujer de su hermano, comete inmundicia; la desnudez de su hermano descubrió; sin hijos serán.

22 “ ‘You shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my ordinances, and do them; that the land, where I am bringing you to dwell, may not vomit you out.

Guardad, pues, todos mis estatutos y todas mis ordenanzas, y ponedlos por obra, no sea que os vomite la tierra en la cual yo os introduzco para que habitéis en ella.

23 Y ou shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I am casting out before you: for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

Y no andéis en las prácticas de las naciones que yo echaré de delante de vosotros; porque ellos hicieron todas estas cosas, y los tuve en abominación.

24 B ut I have said to you, “You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am Yahweh your God, who has separated you from the peoples.

Pero a vosotros os he dicho: Vosotros poseeréis la tierra de ellos, y yo os la daré para que la poseáis por heredad, tierra que fluye leche y miel. Yo Jehová vuestro Dios, que os he apartado de los pueblos.

25 “ ‘You shall therefore make a distinction between the clean animal and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean: and you shall not make yourselves abominable by animal, or by bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have separated from you as unclean for you.

Por tanto, vosotros haréis diferencia entre animal limpio e inmundo, y entre ave inmunda y limpia; y no contaminéis vuestras personas con los animales, ni con las aves, ni con nada que se arrastra sobre la tierra, los cuales os he apartado por inmundos.

26 Y ou shall be holy to me; for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.

Habéis, pues, de serme santos, porque yo Jehová soy santo, y os he apartado de los pueblos para que seáis míos.

27 “ ‘A man or a woman that is a medium, or is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones. Their blood shall be upon them.’”

Y el hombre o la mujer que evoque espíritus de muertos o se entregue a la adivinación, ha de morir; serán apedreados; su sangre será sobre ellos.
