1 Y ahweh’s word came to me, saying,

Vino a mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

2 S on of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and tell them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn’t the shepherds feed the sheep?

Hijo de hombre, profetiza contra los pastores de Israel; profetiza, y di a los pastores: Así dice el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de los pastores de Israel, que se apacientan a sí mismos! ¿No deben los pastores apacentar el rebaño?

3 Y ou eat the fat, and you clothe yourself with the wool, you kill the fatlings; but you don’t feed the sheep.

Coméis la grosura, y os vestís de la lana, degolláis la engordada; mas no apacentáis a las ovejas.

4 Y ou haven’t strengthened the diseased, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor you have ruled over them.

No fortalecisteis las débiles, ni curasteis la enferma; no vendasteis la perniquebrada, ni volvisteis al redil la descarriada, ni buscasteis la perdida, sino que os habéis enseñoreado de ellas con violencia y con dureza.

5 T hey were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered.

Y andan errantes por falta de pastor, y son presa de todas las fieras del campo, y se han dispersado.

6 M y sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill: yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth; and there was no one who searched or sought.

Anduvieron perdidas mis ovejas por todos los montes, y en todo collado alto; y en toda la faz de la tierra fueron esparcidas mis ovejas, y no hubo quien las buscase, ni quien preguntase por ellas.

7 T herefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word:

Por tanto, pastores, oíd palabra de Jehová:

8 A s I live, says the Lord Yahweh, surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn’t feed my sheep;

Vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, que por cuanto mi rebaño fue expuesto al pillaje y a ser presa de todas las fieras del campo, sin pastor; y mis pastores no buscaron mis ovejas, sino que los pastores se apacentaron a sí mismos, y no apacentaron mis ovejas;

9 t herefore, you shepherds, hear Yahweh’s word:

por tanto, oh pastores, oíd palabra de Jehová.

10 T hus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.

Así dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo estoy contra los pastores; y demandaré mis ovejas de su mano, y les haré dejar de apacentar las ovejas; y los pastores ya no se apacentarán más a sí mismos, pues yo libraré mis ovejas de sus bocas, para que no les sirvan más por comida.

11 F or thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.

Porque así dice el Señor Jehová: Aquí estoy yo; yo mismo iré a buscar mis ovejas, y las recogeré.

12 A s a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

Como recoge su rebaño el pastor el día que está en medio de sus ovejas esparcidas, así recogeré mis ovejas, y las libraré de todos los lugares en que fueron esparcidas el día del nublado y de la densa oscuridad.

13 I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

Y yo las sacaré de los pueblos, y las juntaré de las tierras; las traeré a su propia tierra, y las apacentaré en los montes de Israel, junto a los arroyos, y en todos los lugares habitables del país.

14 I will feed them with good pasture; and on the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed on the mountains of Israel.

Las apacentaré en buenos pastos, y en los altos montes de Israel estará su aprisco; allí dormirán en un buen redil, y serán apacentadas con pastos suculentos sobre los montes de Israel.

15 I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord Yahweh.

Yo apacentaré mis ovejas, y yo las haré reposar, dice el Señor Jehová.

16 I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice.

Yo buscaré la perdida, y haré volver al redil la descarriada, vendaré la perniquebrada, y fortaleceré la débil; mas destruiré a la engordada y a la fuerte; las apacentaré con justicia.

17 A s for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats.

Y en cuanto a vosotras, ovejas mías, así dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo juzgo entre oveja y oveja, entre carneros y machos cabríos.

18 D oes it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet?

¿Os parece poco el haberos alimentado con lo mejor de los pastos, para que también pisoteéis con vuestros pies lo que queda de vuestros pastos; y que habiéndoos bebido las aguas claras, enturbiéis además con vuestros pies las que quedan?

19 A s for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.

Así que mis ovejas comen lo hollado de vuestros pies, y beben lo que con vuestros pies habéis enturbiado.

20 T herefore thus says the Lord Yahweh to them: Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

Por eso, así les dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo, sí, yo juzgaré entre la oveja engordada y la oveja flaca,

21 B ecause you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad;

por cuanto empujasteis con el costado y con el hombro, y acorneasteis con vuestros cuernos a todas las débiles, hasta que las echasteis y las dispersasteis.

22 t herefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.

Por tanto, yo salvaré a mis ovejas, y nunca más servirán para el pillaje; y juzgaré entre oveja y oveja.

23 I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

Y suscitaré para ponerlo al frente de ellas a un solo pastor, y él las apacentará; a mi siervo David, él las apacentará, y él les será por pastor.

24 I , Yahweh, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken it.

Y yo Jehová les seré por Dios, y mi siervo David será príncipe en medio de ellos. Yo Jehová he hablado.

25 I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

Y estableceré con ellos pacto de paz, y quitaré de la tierra las fieras; y habitarán en el desierto con seguridad, y dormirán en los bosques.

26 I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.

Y haré de ellas y de los alrededores de mi collado una bendición, y haré descender la lluvia en su tiempo; lluvias de bendición serán.

27 T he tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.

Y el árbol del campo dará su fruto, y la tierra dará sus productos, y estarán sobre su tierra con seguridad; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando haya roto las coyundas de su yugo, y los libre de manos de los que los han tenido esclavizados.

28 T hey shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the animals of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and no one shall make them afraid.

No volverán a ser presa de las naciones, ni las devorarán las fieras de la tierra; sino que habitarán con seguridad, y no habrá quien las espante.

29 I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more.

Y levantaré para ellos un plantío de renombre, y nunca más serán consumidos de hambre en la tierra, ni serán jamás avergonzados por las naciones.

30 T hey shall know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh.

Y sabrán que yo Jehová su Dios estoy con ellos, y ellos, la casa de Israel, son mi pueblo, dice el Señor Jehová.

31 Y ou my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Yahweh.

Y vosotras, ovejas mías, ovejas de mi pasto, sois hombres, y yo soy vuestro Dios, dice el Señor Jehová.
