1 D ios preside la reunión de los dioses, y en medio de ellos emite su sentencia:

God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the rulers.

2 « ¿Hasta cuándo ustedes juzgarán con injusticia, y tratarán como inocentes a los impíos?

How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah.

3 ¡ Defiendan a los pobres y a los huérfanos! ¡Hagan justicia a los afligidos y a los menesterosos!

Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.

4 ¡ Liberen a los afligidos y a los necesitados! ¡Pónganlos a salvo del poder de los impíos!

Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 » Pero ustedes no saben ni entienden; ¡andan en completa oscuridad! ¡Por eso la tierra tiembla hasta sus cimientos!

They do not know nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 » Alguna vez les dije: “Ustedes son dioses. Todos ustedes son hijos del Altísimo.”

I said, “You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High.

7 ¡ Pero ahora morirán como cualquier hombre! ¡Morirán como cualquiera de los príncipes!»

“Nevertheless you will die like men And fall like any one of the princes.”

8 ¡ Levántate, oh Dios, y juzga la tierra! ¡Tuyas son todas las naciones!

Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is You who possesses all the nations.
