O God, keep not thou silence: Hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

2 З ащото, ето, враговете Ти правят размирие, И ненавистниците Ти са издигнали глава.

For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult; And they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

3 К оварен съвет правят против Твоите люде, И се наговарят против скритите Твои.

Thy take crafty counsel against thy people, And consult together against thy hidden ones.

4 Р екох: Елате да ги изтребим, за да не са народ, И да се не споменава вече името на Израиля.

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; That the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

5 З ащото единодушно се съгласиха заедно, Направиха съюз против Тебе, -

For they have consulted together with one consent; Against thee do they make a covenant:

6 Ш атрите на Едом и исмаилите; Моав и агаряните.

The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagarenes;

7 Г евал, Амон и Амалик, Филистимците с тирските жители;

Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre:

8 О ще и Асирия се съедини с тях, Станаха помощници на Лотовите потомци. (Села.)

Assyria also is joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah

9 С тори им като на мадиамците, Като на Сисара, като на Якова при потока Кисон,

Do thou unto them as unto Midian, As to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;

10 К оито загинаха в Ендор, Ставайки тор на земята.

Who perished at Endor, Who became as dung for the earth.

11 Н аправи благородните им като Орива и Зива, Дори всичките им първенци като Зевея и Салмана,

Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; Yea, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;

12 К оито рекоха: Да усвоим за себе си Божиите заселища.

Who said, Let us take to ourselves in possession The habitations of God.

13 Б оже мой, направи ги като въртящия се прах, Като плява пред вятъра.

O my God, make them like the whirling dust; As stubble before the wind.

14 К акто огънят изгаря лесовете, И както пламъкът запалва горите.

As the fire that burneth the forest, And as the flame that setteth the mountains on fire,

15 Т ака ги прогони с урагана Си, И смути ги с бурята Си.

So pursue them with thy tempest, And terrify them with thy storm.

16 П окрий лицата им с позор, За да потърсят Твоето име, Господи.

Fill their faces with confusion, That they may seek thy name, O Jehovah.

17 Н ека се посрамят и ужасят за винаги, Да! нека се смутят и погинат,

Let them be put to shame and dismayed for ever; Yea, let them be confounded and perish;

18 З а да познаят, че Ти, Чието име е Иеова, Един си Всевишен над цялата земя.

That they may know that thou alone, whose name is Jehovah, Art the Most High over all the earth.
