1 ( По слав. 103) Благославяй, душе моя, Господа. Господи Боже мой, Ти си твърде велик С блясък и величие си облечен, -

Bless Jehovah, O my soul. O Jehovah my God, thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honor and majesty:

2 Т и, Който се обличаш със светлина като с дреха, И простираш небето като завеса;

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain;

3 К ойто устрояваш високите Си обиталища над водите, Правиш облаците Своя колесница И вървиш с крилата на вятъра;

Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters; Who maketh the clouds his chariot; Who walketh upon the wings of the wind;

4 К ойто правиш ангелите Си силни като ветровете. И слугите Си като огнения пламък;

Who maketh winds his messengers; Flames of fire his ministers;

5 К ойто си положил земята на основата й, За да се не поклати за вечни времена.

Who laid the foundations of the earth, That it should not be moved for ever.

6 П окрил си я с морето като с дреха; Водите застанаха над планините.

Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a vesture; The waters stood above the mountains.

7 О т Твоето смъмряне те побягнаха, От гласа на гърма Ти се спуснаха на бяг

At thy rebuke they fled; At the voice of thy thunder they hasted away

8 И здигаха се планините, снишаваха се долините. На мястото, което беше определил за тях.

(The mountains rose, the valleys sank down) Unto the place which thou hadst founded for them.

9 П оложил си предел на водите, за да не могат да преминат, Нито да се върнат пак да покрият земята.

Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; That they turn not again to cover the earth.

10 Т и си, Който изпращаш извори в доловете За да текат между планините.

He sendeth forth springs into the valleys; They run among the mountains;

11 Н апояват всичките полски зверове; С тях дивите осли утоляват жаждата си:

They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild asses quench their thirst.

12 П ри тях небесните птици обитават И пият между клончетата.

By them the birds of the heavens have their habitation; They sing among the branches.

13 Т и си, Който поиш планините от високите Си обиталища, Тъй щото от плода на Твоите дела се насища земята;

He watereth the mountains from his chambers: The earth is filled with the fruit of thy works.

14 П равиш да никне трева за добитъка, И зеленчук за потреба на човека, За да изважда храна от земята,

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, And herb for the service of man; That he may bring forth food out of the earth,

15 И вино, което весели сърцето на човека, И прави да лъщи лицето му повече от дървено масло, И хляб, който уякчава сърцето на човека.

And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, And oil to make his face to shine, And bread that strengtheneth man's heart.

16 В еликолепните+ дървета се наситиха, Ливанските кедри, които Господ е насадил,

The trees of Jehovah are filled with moisture, The cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

17 Г дето птиците си свиват гнезда, И елхите са жилище на щърка;

Where the birds make their nests: As for the stork, the fir-trees are her house.

18 В исоките планини са на дивите кози, Канарите са прибежище на дивите зайци.

The high mountains are for the wild goats; The rocks are a refuge for the conies.

19 Т ой е определил луната, за да показва времената; Слънцето знае кога да залязва.

He appointed the moon for seasons: The sun knoweth his going down.

20 С пущаш тъмнина, и настава нощ, Когато всичките горски зверове се разхождат.

Thou makest darkness, and it is night, Wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth.

21 Л ъвчетата реват за лов, И търсят от Бога храна.

The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God.

22 И згрее ли слънцето, те си отиват И лягат в рововете си.

The sun ariseth, they get them away, And lay them down in their dens.

23 Ч овек излиза на работата си И на труда си до вечерта.

Man goeth forth unto his work And to his labor until the evening.

24 К олко са многовидни Твоите дела, Господи! С мъдрост си направил всичките; Земята е пълна с твоите творения.

O Jehovah, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all: The earth is full of thy riches.

25 Е то голямото и пространно море, Гдето има безбройни пълзящи животни, Животни малки и големи.

Yonder is the sea, great and wide, Wherein are things creeping innumerable, Both small and great beasts.

26 Т ам плуват корабите; Там е и чудовището, което си създал да играе в него.

There go the ships; There is leviathan, whom thou hast formed to play therein.

27 В сички тия от Тебе очакват Да им дадеш на време храната.

These wait all for thee, That thou mayest give them their food in due season.

28 К аквото им даваш те го събират; Отваряш ръката Си, и те се насищат с блага,

Thou givest unto them, they gather; Thou openest thy hand, they are satisfied with good.

29 С криеш ли лицето Си, те се смущават; Прибираш ли лъха им, те умират И връщат се в пръстта си.

Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; Thou takest away their breath, they die, And return to their dust.

30 И зпращаш ли Духа Си, те се създават; И подновяваш лицето на земята.

Thou sendest forth thy Spirit, they are created; And thou renewest the face of the ground.

31 Н ека трае до века славата Господна; Нека се радва в делата Си Господ,

Let the glory of Jehovah endure for ever; Let Jehovah rejoice in his works:

32 К ойто, кога гледа на земята, тя трепери, Кога се допира до планините, те димят.

Who looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; He toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.

33 Щ е пея Господу докато съм жив; Ще славословя моя Бог докле съществувам.

I will sing unto Jehovah as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.

34 Д а Му бъде приятно моето размишление; Аз ще се веселя в Господа.

Let thy meditation be sweet unto him: I will rejoice in Jehovah.

35 Н ека се довършат грешните от земята, И нечестивите да ги няма вече. Благославяй, душе моя, Господа. Алилуя.

Let sinners be consumed out of the earth. And let the wicked be no more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Praise ye Jehovah.
