1 Р ече още на Моисея: Възкачете се към Господа, ти и Аарон, Надав и Авиуд, и седемдесет от Израилевите старейшини, и поклонете се от далеч;

And he said unto Moses, Come up unto Jehovah, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off:

2 с амо Моисей ще се приближи при Господа, а те не ще се приближат, нито ще се възкачат людете с него.

and Moses alone shall come near unto Jehovah; but they shall not come near; neither shall the people go up with him.

3 Т огава Моисей дойде та каза та каза на людете всичките думи на Господа и всичките му съдби; и всичките люде едногласно отговориха казвайки: Всичко, което е казал Господ, ще вършим.

And Moses came and told the people all the words of Jehovah, and all the ordinances: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which Jehovah hath spoken will we do.

4 И Моисей написа всичките Господни думи; и на утринта, като стана рано, гдето изправи и дванадесет стълба, според дванадесетте Израилеви племена.

And Moses wrote all the words of Jehovah, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the mount, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

5 И изпрати момци от израилтяните, та принесоха всеизгаряния и пожертвуваха Господу телци за примирителни жертви.

And he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt-offerings, and sacrificed peace-offerings of oxen unto Jehovah.

6 А Моисей взе половината от кръвта и тури я в паници, а с другата половина половина от кръвта поръси върху олтара.

And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

7 П осле взе книгата за завета и я прочете, като слушаха людете; и те рекоха: Всичко, каквото е казал Господ, ще вършим, и ще бъдем послушни.

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that Jehovah hath spoken will we do, and be obedient.

8 Т огава Моисей взе кръвта и поръси с нея върху людете, като казваше: Ето кръвта на завета, който Господ направи с вас според всички тия условия.

And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Jehovah hath made with you concerning all these words.

9 И тъй Моисей и Аарон, Надав и Авиуд и седемдесет от Израилевите старейшини се възкачиха горе.

Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel.

10 И видяха Израилевия Бог: под нозете Му имаше като настилка от сапфир, чиято бистрота беше също като небе.

And they saw the God of Israel; and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and as it were the very heaven for clearness.

11 Н о Той не тури ръка на благородните от израилтяните. И те видяха Бога, и там ядоха и пиха.

And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: and they beheld God, and did eat and drink.

12 Т огава рече Господ на Моисея: Ела горе при мене на планината и стой там; и ще ти дам каменните плочи, закона и заповедите, които съм написал, за да ги поучаваш.

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee the tables of stone, and the law and the commandment, which I have written, that thou mayest teach them.

13 И тъй Моисей стана със слугата си Исуса, и Моисей се изкачи на Божията планина.

And Moses rose up, and Joshua his minister: and Moses went up into the mount of God.

14 А рече на старейшините: Чакайте ни тук догде се завърнем при вас; и, ето, Аарон и Ор са при вас; който има тъжба, нека иде при тях.

And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: whosoever hath a cause, let him come near unto them.

15 Т огава Моисей се изкачи на планината; и облакът покриваше планината.

And Moses went up into the mount, and the cloud covered the mount.

16 И Господната слава застана на Синайската планина, и облакът я покриваше шест дена, а на седмия ден Господ извика към Моисея всред облака.

And the glory of Jehovah abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17 И видът на Господната слава по върха на планината се виждаше на израилтяните като огън пояждащ.

And the appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18 И тъй Моисей влезе всред облака и се възкачи на планината. И Моисей стоя на планината четиридесет дена и четиридесет нощи.

And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
