1 C on mi voz clamé a Dios, A Dios clamé, y él me escuchó.

I cried out to God with my voice— To God with my voice; And He gave ear to me.

2 B usqué al Señor cuando me vi angustiado; por las noches, sin cesar, a él levanté mis manos; pues mi alma rehusaba ser consolada.

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord; My hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing; My soul refused to be comforted.

3 M e acordé de Dios, y me sentí conmovido; al quejarme, mi ánimo decaía.

I remembered God, and was troubled; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah

4 D ios no me dejaba pegar los ojos; tan quebrantado estaba yo, que no podía hablar.

You hold my eyelids open; I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

5 P ensaba yo en los días de antaño, en los años de tiempos pasados.

I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.

6 M e acordaba de mis cánticos nocturnos, y en mi corazón meditaba, y mi espíritu inquiría:

I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, And my spirit makes diligent search.

7 « ¿Nos abandonará el Señor para siempre? ¿Acaso no volverá a tratarnos con bondad?

Will the Lord cast off forever? And will He be favorable no more?

8 ¿ Se habrá agotado para siempre su misericordia? ¿Habrá puesto fin para siempre a su promesa?

Has His mercy ceased forever? Has His promise failed forevermore?

9 ¿ Se habrá olvidado Dios de tener misericordia? ¿Habrá, en su enojo, puesto un límite a su piedad?»

Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? Selah

10 T ambién me dije: «Debo estar enfermo. ¿Cómo puedo pensar que la diestra del Altísimo ha cambiado?

And I said, “This is my anguish; But I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

11 E s mejor que haga memoria de las obras del Señor.» Sí, haré memoria de tus maravillas de antaño;

I will remember the works of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.

12 m editaré en todas tus obras, y proclamaré todos tus hechos.

I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds.

13 S anto es, oh Dios, tu camino; ¿qué otro dios es tan grande como tú, Dios nuestro?

Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary; Who is so great a God as our God?

14 T ú eres el Dios que hace maravillas; has manifestado entre los pueblos tu poder.

You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples.

15 C on tu brazo diste libertad a tu pueblo, a los descendientes de Jacob y de José.

You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

16 C uando las aguas te vieron, oh Dios, cuando las aguas te vieron, sintieron temor, y hasta los abismos se estremecieron.

The waters saw You, O God; The waters saw You, they were afraid; The depths also trembled.

17 L as nubes derramaron torrentes de agua, los cielos retumbaron, y atronaron tus rayos;

The clouds poured out water; The skies sent out a sound; Your arrows also flashed about.

18 r esonó en el torbellino la voz de tu trueno; tus relámpagos iluminaron el mundo, y la tierra tembló y se estremeció.

The voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lit up the world; The earth trembled and shook.

19 T e abriste paso en el mar, y atravesaste las muchas aguas, aunque nadie vio jamás tus pisadas,

Your way was in the sea, Your path in the great waters, And Your footsteps were not known.

20 y por medio de Moisés y de Aarón guiaste a tu pueblo como a un rebaño.

You led Your people like a flock By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
