1 É stos son los reyes que los hijos de Israel derrotaron para tomar posesión de sus tierras ubicadas al otro lado del Jordán, hacia donde sale el sol, desde el arroyo de Arnón hasta el monte Hermón, y toda la región oriental del Arabá:

These are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel defeated, and whose land they possessed on the other side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the River Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the eastern Jordan plain:

2 S ijón, rey de los amorreos, que reinaba en Jesbón y cuyo dominio se extendía desde Aroer, ciudad que estaba en la ribera del arroyo de Arnón, y desde el centro del valle, hasta el arroyo de Jaboc, que es la mitad de Galaad y frontera de los hijos de Amón.

One king was Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon and ruled half of Gilead, from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, from the middle of that river, even as far as the River Jabbok, which is the border of the Ammonites,

3 T ambién abarcaba al oriente el lago de Cineret hasta el Mar Salado, al oriente del Arabá, por el camino de Bet Yesimot, y desde el sur al pie de la falda del monte Pisga.

and the eastern Jordan plain from the Sea of Chinneroth as far as the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), the road to Beth Jeshimoth, and southward below the slopes of Pisgah.

4 T ambién tomaron posesión del territorio de Og, rey de Basán, que había quedado de los refaítas, y que habitaba en Astarot y en Edrey.

The other king was Og king of Bashan and his territory, who was of the remnant of the giants, who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

5 E l dominio de Og se extendía al monte Hermón, en Salca, y a todo Basán, hasta la frontera con Gesur y Macá, y hasta la mitad de Galaad, que era territorio de Sijón, el rey de Jesbón.

and reigned over Mount Hermon, over Salcah, over all Bashan, as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and over half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

6 E stos reyes fueron derrotados por Moisés, el siervo del Señor, y por los hijos de Israel. Estas tierras que Moisés conquistó, se las dio en posesión a los rubenitas y gaditas, y a la media tribu de Manasés. Reyes derrotados por Josué

These Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel had conquered; and Moses the servant of the Lord had given it as a possession to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh. The Kings Conquered by Joshua

7 É stos son los reyes derrotados por Josué y los hijos de Israel, cuyas tierras estaban en la ribera occidental del Jordán, y desde Baal Gad, en el llano del Líbano, hasta el monte Jalac, en dirección a Seir. Josué repartió esas tierras a las tribus de Israel, como su herencia permanente.

And these are the kings of the country which Joshua and the children of Israel conquered on this side of the Jordan, on the west, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon as far as Mount Halak and the ascent to Seir, which Joshua gave to the tribes of Israel as a possession according to their divisions,

8 E sas tierras estaban en las montañas, en los valles, en el Arabá, en las laderas, en el desierto y en el Néguev, y habían pertenecido a los hititas, amorreos, cananeos, ferezeos, jivitas y jebuseos.

in the mountain country, in the lowlands, in the Jordan plain, in the slopes, in the wilderness, and in the South—the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:

the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;

10 e l rey de Jerusalén, el rey de Hebrón;

the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

11 e l rey de Jarmut, el rey de Laquis;

the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

12 e l rey de Eglón, el rey de Guézer;

the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

13 e l rey de Debir, el rey de Geder;

the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

14 e l rey de Jormá, el rey de Arad;

the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;

15 e l rey de Libna, el rey de Adulán;

the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;

16 e l rey de Maceda, el rey de Betel;

the king of Makkedah, one; the king of Bethel, one;

17 e l rey de Tapuaj, el rey de Jéfer;

22 e l rey de Cedes, el rey de Jocneán, en el monte Carmelo;

the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one;

23 e l rey de Dor, de la provincia de Dor, el rey de Goyín en Gilgal;

the king of Dor in the heights of Dor, one; the king of the people of Gilgal, one;

24 y el rey de Tirsa. En total, treinta y un reyes.
