1 ¡ Aleluya! Alabad el nombre del Señor; Alabad le, siervos del Señor,

Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the name of the Lord; praise him, O ye servants of the Lord.

2 l os que estáis en la casa del Señor, en los atrios de la casa de nuestro Dios.

Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.

3 ¡ Aleluya!, porque el Señor es bueno; cantad alabanzas a su nombre, porque es agradable.

Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

4 P orque el Señor ha escogido a Jacob para sí, a Israel para posesión suya.

For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.

5 P orque yo sé que el Señor es grande, y que nuestro Señor está sobre todos los dioses.

For I know that the Lord is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.

6 T odo cuanto el Señor quiere, lo hace, en los cielos y en la tierra, en los mares y en todos los abismos.

Whatsoever the Lord pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.

7 E l hace subir las nubes desde los extremos de la tierra, hace los relámpagos para la lluvia y saca el viento de sus depósitos.

He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

8 H irió a los primogénitos de Egipto, tanto de hombre como de animal.

Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.

9 E nvió señales y prodigios en medio de ti, oh Egipto, sobre Faraón y todos sus siervos.

Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.

10 H irió a muchas naciones y mató a reyes poderosos;

Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;

11 a Sehón, rey de los amorreos, a Og, rey de Basán, y a todos los reinos de Canaán;

Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:

12 y dio sus tierras en herencia, en herencia a Israel su pueblo.

And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.

13 T u nombre, Señor, es eterno; tu memoria, Señor, por todas las generaciones.

Thy name, O Lord, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O Lord, throughout all generations.

14 P orque el Señor juzgará a su pueblo, y tendrá compasión de sus siervos.

For the Lord will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.

15 L os ídolos de las naciones son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombre.

The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

16 T ienen boca, y no hablan; tienen ojos, y no ven;

They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

17 t ienen oídos, y no oyen; tampoco hay aliento en su boca.

They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.

18 L os que los hacen serán semejantes a ellos, sí, todos los que en ellos confían.

They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

19 O h casa de Israel, bendecid al Señor; oh casa de Aarón, bendecid al Señor;

Bless the Lord, O house of Israel: bless the Lord, O house of Aaron:

20 o h casa de Leví, bendecid al Señor; los que teméis al Señor, bendecid al Señor.

Bless the Lord, O house of Levi: ye that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.

21 B endito desde Sion sea el Señor, quien mora en Jerusalén. ¡Aleluya!

Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.
