1 T o You belongs silence (the submissive wonder of reverence which bursts forth into praise) and praise is due and fitting to You, O God, in Zion; and to You shall the vow be performed.

Ty, o Perëndi, të përket lëvdimi në Sion; dhe do të kryhen zotimet para teje.

2 O You Who hear prayer, to You shall all flesh come.

Te ti, që plotëson lutjen, do të vijë çdo krijesë.

3 I niquities and much varied guilt prevail against me; as for our transgressions, You forgive and purge them away!

Mëkatet më kishin mundur, por ti siguron faljen për shkeljet tona.

4 B lessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man whom You choose and cause to come near, that he may dwell in Your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.

Lum ai njeri që ti e zgjedh dhe e afron pranë vetes, që të banojë në oborret e tua; ne do të ngopemi me të mirat e shtëpisë sate, me gjërat e shenjta të tempullit tënd.

5 B y fearful and glorious things do You answer us in righteousness (rightness and justice), O God of our salvation, You Who are the confidence and hope of all the ends of the earth and of those far off on the seas;

Në drejtësinë tënde, ti na përgjigjesh me vepra të tmerrshme, o Perëndia i shpëtimit tonë, ti që je shpresa e skajeve të tokës dhe e deteve të largëta.

6 W ho by might have founded the mountains, being girded with power,

Me fuqinë tënde i ke bërë malet të patundshëm dhe i ke ngjeshur me forcë.

7 W ho still the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples,

Ti qetëson zhurmën e deteve, zhurmën e valëve të tyre dhe trazirën e popujve.

8 S o that those who dwell in earth’s farthest parts are afraid of signs of Your presence. You make the places where morning and evening have birth to shout for joy.

Dhe ata që banojnë në skajet e tokës kanë frikë nga mrekullitë e tua; ti bën që të shpërthejnë britma gëzimi nga lindja dhe nga perëndimi.

9 Y ou visit the earth and saturate it with water; You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; You provide them with grain when You have so prepared the earth.

Ti e viziton tokën dhe bën që ajo të prodhojë më tepër, e pasuron në një masë të madhe; lumi i Perëndisë është plot ujë; ti u siguron njerëzve grurin e tyre, mbasi e ke përgatitur tokën.

10 Y ou water the field’s furrows abundantly, You settle the ridges of it; You make the soil soft with showers, blessing the sprouting of its vegetation.

Ti i mbush me ujë brazdat e saj, sheshon plisat, e zbut me shirat dhe bekon filizat.

11 Y ou crown the year with Your bounty and goodness, and the tracks of Your drip with fatness.

Ti e kurorëzon motin me bujarinë tënde të madhe dhe gjurmët e tua dallohen me bollëkun e të mirave.

12 T he pastures in the uncultivated country drip, and the hills gird themselves with joy.

Kullotat e shkretëtirës janë plot me ujë, dhe kodrinat janë mbuluar me gëzim.

13 T he meadows are clothed with flocks, the valleys also are covered with grain; they shout for joy and sing together.

Kullotat mbulohen me kope dhe luginat mbulohen me grurë; ato lëshojnë britma gëzimi dhe këndojnë.
