1 U nto You do I cry, O Lord my Rock, be not deaf and silent to me, lest, if You be silent to me, I become like those going down to the pit.

Ty të këlthas, o Zot, o kështjella ime; mos rri në heshtje, sepse po të mos flasësh ti, unë bëhem njëlloj si ata që zbresin në gropë.

2 H ear the voice of my supplication as I cry to You for help, as I lift up my hands toward Your innermost sanctuary (the Holy of Holies).

Dëgjo zërin e lutjeve të mia kur të këlthas ty për ndihmë, kur ngre duart në drejtim të vendit tënd shumë të shenjtë.

3 D rag me not away with the wicked, with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbors, but malice and mischief are in their hearts.

Mos më tërhiq bashkë me të pabesët dhe ata që kryejnë paudhësi, të cilët flasin për paqe me të afërmit e tyre, por kanë shpirtligësi në zemër.

4 R epay them according to their work and according to the wickedness of their doings; repay them according to the work of their hands; render to them what they deserve.

Jepu atyre sipas veprave që kanë kryer dhe sipas ligësisë së veprimeve të tyre; jepu atyre sipas veprës së duarve të tyre; jepu atyre hakun që meritojnë.

5 B ecause they regard not the works of the Lord nor the operations of His hands, He will break them down and not rebuild them.

Duke qenë se ata nuk i çmojnë veprat e Zotit dhe atë që duart e tij kanë bërë, ai do t’i mposhtë dhe nuk do t’i lërë të begatohen.

6 B lessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications.

I bekuar qoftë Zoti, sepse ka dëgjuar zërin e lutjeve të mia.

7 T he Lord is my Strength and my Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him.

Zoti është forca ime dhe mburoja ime; zemra ime ka pasur besim tek ai dhe unë u ndihmova; prandaj zemra ime ngazëllen dhe unë do ta kremtoj këtë me këngën time.

8 T he Lord is their Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to His anointed.

Zoti është forca e popullit të tij, dhe streha e shpëtimit për të vajosurin e tij.

9 S ave Your people and bless Your heritage; nourish and shepherd them and carry them forever.

Shpëto popullin tënd dhe beko trashëgiminë tënde; ushqeji dhe përkrahi përjetë.
