1 A nd the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

Il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè, e disse:

2 “ Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, the anointing oil, a bull as the sin offering, two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;

«Prendi Aaronne e i suoi figli con lui, i paramenti, l’olio dell’unzione, il toro del sacrificio espiatorio, i due montoni e il paniere dei pani azzimi;

3 a nd gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.”

e convoca tutta la comunità all’ingresso della tenda di convegno».

4 S o Moses did as the Lord commanded him. And the congregation was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

Mosè fece come il Signore gli aveva ordinato e la comunità fu convocata all’ingresso della tenda di convegno.

5 A nd Moses said to the congregation, “This is what the Lord commanded to be done.”

Mosè disse alla comunità: «Questo è quello che il Signore ha ordinato di fare».

6 T hen Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.

Mosè fece avvicinare Aaronne e i suoi figli, e li lavò con acqua.

7 A nd he put the tunic on him, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him; and he girded him with the intricately woven band of the ephod, and with it tied the ephod on him.

Poi rivestì Aaronne della tunica, lo cinse della cintura, gli mise addosso il manto, gli mise l’efod e lo cinse della cintura artistica dell’efod, con la quale gli fissò l’efod addosso.

8 T hen he put the breastplate on him, and he put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastplate.

Gli mise pure il pettorale, e sul pettorale mise l’urim e il tummim.

9 A nd he put the turban on his head. Also on the turban, on its front, he put the golden plate, the holy crown, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Poi gli mise in capo il turbante e sul davanti del turbante pose la lamina d’oro, il santo diadema, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

10 A lso Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them.

Poi Mosè prese l’olio dell’unzione, unse il tabernacolo e tutte le cose che vi si trovavano e le consacrò.

11 H e sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to consecrate them.

Fece sette aspersioni sull’altare, lo unse con tutti i suoi utensili, la conca e la sua base, per consacrarli.

12 A nd he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.

Versò dell’olio dell’unzione sul capo di Aaronne e unse Aaronne, per consacrarlo.

13 T hen Moses brought Aaron’s sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put hats on them, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Poi Mosè fece avvicinare i figli di Aaronne, li vestì di tuniche, li cinse di cinture e legò sul loro capo delle mitre, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

14 A nd he brought the bull for the sin offering. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering,

Fece quindi avvicinare il toro del sacrificio espiatorio, e Aaronne e i suoi figli gli posarono le mani sulla testa.

15 a nd Moses killed it. Then he took the blood, and put some on the horns of the altar all around with his finger, and purified the altar. And he poured the blood at the base of the altar, and consecrated it, to make atonement for it.

Mosè lo sgozzò, ne prese del sangue, lo mise con il dito sui corni dell’altare da ogni lato, e purificò l’altare; poi sparse il resto del sangue ai piedi dell’altare e lo consacrò per fare su di esso l’espiazione.

16 T hen he took all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar.

Prese tutto il grasso che era sulle interiora, la rete del fegato, i due rognoni con il loro grasso, e Mosè fece bruciare tutto sull’altare.

17 B ut the bull, its hide, its flesh, and its offal, he burned with fire outside the camp, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Ma il toro, la sua pelle, la sua carne e i suoi escrementi, li bruciò fuori del campo, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

18 T hen he brought the ram as the burnt offering. And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,

Fece quindi avvicinare il montone dell’olocausto e Aaronne e i suoi figli posarono le mani sulla sua testa.

19 a nd Moses killed it. Then he sprinkled the blood all around on the altar.

Mosè lo sgozzò e sparse il sangue sull’altare da ogni lato.

20 A nd he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burned the head, the pieces, and the fat.

Poi fece a pezzi il montone, e Mosè fece bruciare la testa, i pezzi e il grasso;

21 T hen he washed the entrails and the legs in water. And Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

quando ne ebbe lavato le interiora e le zampe con acqua, fece bruciare tutto il montone sull’altare. Fu un olocausto di profumo soave, un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco per il Signore, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

22 A nd he brought the second ram, the ram of consecration. Then Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,

Poi fece avvicinare il secondo montone, il montone della consacrazione; Aaronne e i suoi figli posarono le mani sulla testa del montone.

23 a nd Moses killed it. Also he took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron’s right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

Mosè lo sgozzò, ne prese del sangue e lo mise sull’estremità dell’orecchio destro di Aaronne, sul pollice della sua mano destra e sull’alluce del suo piede destro.

24 T hen he brought Aaron’s sons. And Moses put some of the blood on the tips of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses sprinkled the blood all around on the altar.

Poi Mosè fece avvicinare i figli di Aaronne, e mise di quel sangue sull’estremità del loro orecchio destro, sul pollice della loro mano destra e sull’alluce del loro piede destro; e sparse il resto del sangue sull’altare da ogni lato.

25 T hen he took the fat and the fat tail, all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe attached to the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh;

Poi prese il grasso, la coda, tutto il grasso che copriva le interiora, la rete del fegato, i due rognoni, il loro grasso, e la coscia destra;

26 a nd from the basket of unleavened bread that was before the Lord he took one unleavened cake, a cake of bread anointed with oil, and one wafer, and put them on the fat and on the right thigh;

dal paniere dei pani azzimi, che era davanti al Signore, prese una focaccia senza lievito, una focaccia di pasta intrisa d’olio e una galletta, e le pose sulle parti grasse e sulla coscia destra.

27 a nd he put all these in Aaron’s hands and in his sons’ hands, and waved them as a wave offering before the Lord.

Poi mise tutte queste cose nelle mani di Aaronne e nelle mani dei suoi figli, e le agitò come offerta agitata davanti al Signore.

28 T hen Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar, on the burnt offering. They were consecration offerings for a sweet aroma. That was an offering made by fire to the Lord.

Mosè quindi le prese dalle loro mani e le fece bruciare sull’altare sopra l’olocausto. Fu un sacrificio di consacrazione, di profumo soave: un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco per il Signore.

29 A nd Moses took the breast and waved it as a wave offering before the Lord. It was Moses’ part of the ram of consecration, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Poi Mosè prese il petto del montone e lo agitò come offerta agitata davanti al Signore; questa fu la parte del montone della consacrazione, toccata a Mosè, come il Signore gli aveva ordinato.

30 T hen Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him; and he consecrated Aaron, his garments, his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

Mosè prese quindi dell’olio dell’unzione e del sangue che era sopra l’altare; spruzzò Aaronne e i suoi paramenti, i suoi figli e i loro paramenti; così consacrò Aaronne e i suoi paramenti, i suoi figli e i loro paramenti con lui.

31 A nd Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of consecration offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’

Poi Mosè disse ad Aaronne e ai suoi figli: «Fate cuocere la carne all’ingresso della tenda di convegno; la mangerete lì con il pane che è nel paniere della consacrazione, come ho ordinato, dicendo: “Aaronne e i suoi figli la mangeranno”.

32 W hat remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire.

Quel che rimane della carne e del pane lo brucerete.

33 A nd you shall not go outside the door of the tabernacle of meeting for seven days, until the days of your consecration are ended. For seven days he shall consecrate you.

Per sette giorni non vi allontanerete dall’ingresso della tenda di convegno, finché non siano compiuti i giorni della vostra consacrazione; poiché la vostra consacrazione durerà sette giorni.

34 A s he has done this day, so the Lord has commanded to do, to make atonement for you.

Ciò che si è fatto oggi è stato ordinato dal Signore, per fare espiazione per voi.

35 T herefore you shall stay at the door of the tabernacle of meeting day and night for seven days, and keep the charge of the Lord, so that you may not die; for so I have been commanded.”

Rimarrete dunque sette giorni all’ingresso della tenda di convegno, giorno e notte, e osserverete il comandamento del Signore, affinché non moriate; poiché così mi è stato ordinato».

36 S o Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.

Aaronne e i suoi figli fecero tutte le cose che il Signore aveva ordinato per mezzo di Mosè.
