1 T he hand of Jehovah was upon me, and Jehovah carried me out in the Spirit, and set me down in the midst of a valley; and it was full of bones.

Господнята ръка беше върху мен и ме изведе чрез Господния Дух, и ме постави сред поле, което беше пълно с кости.

2 A nd he caused me to pass by them round about; and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and behold, they were very dry.

И ме преведе край тях наоколо; и, ето, имаше твърде много по отвореното поле и бяха твърде сухи.

3 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, Shall these bones live? And I said, Lord Jehovah, thou knowest.

Той ми каза: Сине човешки, могат ли да оживеят тези кости? Аз отговорих: Господи Йехова, Ти знаеш.

4 A nd he said unto me, Prophesy over these bones, and say unto them, Ye dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah.

Пак ми каза: Пророкувай над тези кости и им кажи: Сухи кости, слушайте Господнето слово.

5 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah unto these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.

Така казва Господ Йехова на тези кости: Ето, ще направя да влезе във вас дух и ще оживеете;

6 A nd I will put sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live: and ye shall know that I Jehovah.

ще сложа и жили върху вас, ще ви облека в плът и ще ви покрия с кожа, и като вложа дух у вас, ще оживеете; и ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ.

7 A nd I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a rustling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone.

И така, пророкувах, както ми беше заповядано; и като пророкувах, започна да гърми и, ето, трус, и костите се събираха, кост с костта си.

8 A nd I looked, and behold, sinews and flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

А като погледнах, видях, че жили и плът израснаха по тях и кожа ги покри отгоре; дух обаче нямаше в тях.

9 A nd he said unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

Тогава ми каза: Пророкувай за духа; пророкувай, сине човешки, и кажи на духа: Така казва Господ Йехова: Ела, дух, от четирите ветрища и духни върху тези убити, за да оживеят.

10 A nd I prophesied as he had commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

И така, пророкувах, както ми заповяда; и духът влезе в тях и те оживяха; и се изправиха на краката си, една твърде голяма войска.

11 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off!

Тогава ми каза: Сине човешки, тези кости са целият Израелев дом. Ето, те казват: Костите ни изсъхнаха и надеждата ни се изгуби; ние сме загинали.

12 T herefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, O my people, and bring you into the land of Israel.

Затова пророкувай и им кажи: Така казва Господ Йехова: Ето, народе Мой, Аз ще отворя гробовете ви и като ви изведа от тях, ще ви заведа в Израелевата земя.

13 A nd ye shall know that I Jehovah, when I have opened your graves, and have caused you to come up out of your graves, O my people.

И ще познаете, народе Мой, че Аз съм Господ, когато отворя гробовете ви и ви изведа от тях.

14 A nd I will put my Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I will place you in your own land: and ye shall know that I Jehovah have spoken, and have done, saith Jehovah.

След като вложа Духа Си у вас, ще оживеете; и ще ви отведа във вашата земя; и ще познаете, че Аз, Господ, изговорих това и го извърших, казва Господ. Юда и Израел - едно царство

15 A nd the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

Господнето слово пак дойде към мен и каза:

16 A nd thou, son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel, his companions. And take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.

Ти, сине човешки, си вземи един жезъл и напиши на него: За Юда и за другарите му, израелтяните; тогава вземи друг жезъл и напиши на него: За Йосиф, жезъла на Ефрем, и другарите му, целия Израелев дом.

17 A nd join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thy hand.

И ги съедини един с друг в един жезъл, за да станат един в ръката ти.

18 A nd when the children of my people speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not declare unto us what thou meanest by these?

А когато народът ти продума и те запитат: Няма ли да ни обясниш какво искаш да кажеш с това?

19 s ay unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions, and will put them with this, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.

Отговори им: Така казва Господ Йехова: Ето, Аз ще взема Йосифовия жезъл, който е в ръката на Ефрем и на другарите му, Израелевите племена, и ще ги прибавя към него, към Юдовия жезъл, и ще ги направя един жезъл; те ще бъдат един в ръката Ми.

20 A nd the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thy hand before their eyes.

А жезлите, на които си написал, нека бъдат в ръката ти пред очите им.

21 A nd say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, whither they are gone, and will gather them from every side, and bring them into their own land:

И им кажи: Така казва Господ Йехова: Ето, Аз ще взема израелтяните изсред народите, където са отишли, и като ги събера отвсякъде, ще ги доведа в земята им;

22 a nd I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

и ще ги направя един народ в земята, върху Израелевите планини; един цар ще царува над всички тях; и няма да бъдат вече два народа, нито ще бъдат занапред разделени в две царства.

23 A nd they shall not defile themselves any more with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions; and I will save them out of all their dwelling-places wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Те няма вече да се оскверняват с идолите си, нито с мерзостите си, нито с кое да било от престъпленията си; а ще ги избавя от всички отстъпления, с които са съгрешили, и ще ги очистя; така те ще бъдат Мой народ и Аз ще бъда техен Бог.

24 A nd David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: and they shall walk in mine ordinances, and keep my statutes, and do them.

И слугата Ми Давид ще им бъде цар; над всички тях ще има един пастир; и те ще постъпват според заповедите Ми, ще пазят наредбите Ми и ще ги изпълняват.

25 A nd they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.

Също ще живеят в земята, която дадох на слугата Си Яков, където живяха бащите ви; в нея ще живеят те, децата им и внуците им довека; и слугата Ми Давид ще им бъде княз довека.

26 A nd I will make a covenant of peace with them: it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for ever.

При това ще сключа с тях завет за мир, който ще бъде вечен завет с тях; и като ги настаня, ще ги умножа и ще положа светилището Си сред тях довека.

27 A nd my tabernacle shall be over them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

И скинията Ми ще бъде сред тях; и Аз ще бъда техен Бог и те ще бъдат Мой народ.

28 A nd the nations shall know that I Jehovah do hallow Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for ever.

Тогава народите ще познаят, че Аз, Господ, освещавам Израел, когато светилището Ми бъде сред тях довека.
